For Weeeirdos 21 we have a podcast from the very talented Raymond V @_raymondv_ - The Italian artist’s relationship with Techno began in her childhood, influenced by her father’s taste in 80s electronic rock and the synths that naturally accompanied it, which still remain rooted in her sound today. Taking inspiration from the German techno of the early 2000s while adding her own twist, Raymond V lulls listeners into a deep sense of cathartic hypnosis, frequently engulfing the dancefloor in storms of ambient-industrial, yet driving them through this with warm, refined grooves. Some words from the artist about this mix in particular “-The Future is a return to the Origin- is one of my recurring themes, explored through cathartic journeys, and a constant search for quality sounds and rhythms that resonate deeply with my soul.
