I have a new record coming out soon! ‘Inferno’ is coming out on Token 15th of May. There’s always a bit more pressure when you release music on your own label, as you’re the only one deciding and you have full creative control. Luckily I’ve grown more comfortable with that over the years and honestly, I feel particularly proud of this one. Usually an idea for an EP starts forming with 1 key track. Here it was the title track ‘Inferno’. Once I knew that was going to be the centerpiece, I wrote track 2 and 3 pretty quickly. The last track is a bit different but I feel it works well for contrast and as a softer conclusion for a rather bold and abrasive EP. Special thanks to @ogazon.dj for the cover art. Couldn’t be a more fitting image to the music!

After playing here for 15+ years, being trusted with the closing slot is still a huge honor. With it also comes a big responsibility and I never take it lightly. DJ’ing is all about connecting with the audience but in those final hours especially, the room becomes one. We did it together!

Been a bit late with posting about this, but my new EP ‘Footprints’ is out now on Blueprint! I will never get used to releasing music on one of my favorite labels. I appreciate everything @james_ruskin has done for me, from inspiring me as a DJ since I was a kid, to showcasing my productions today, for which he laid the (pun intended) Blueprint.
About the EP: there’s a bit of everything here. Driving call & response funk on ‘Build & Destroy’, classic Hood chord sequences on ‘Footprints’, wonky old school stomping on ‘Kobold’ and more light-footed stripped back grooves on ‘Into Thin Air’.
