KITE × WEEEIRDOSOn April 24, KITE and WEEEIRDOS Berlin join forces for a collaborative night in Ankara.WEEEIRDOS is a Berlin-based collective and party series founded by Lolsnake, known for high-energy, genre-bending techno and a commitment to inclusive, queer-forward club culture.Daria Kolosova (@dar.key )With 14 years of experience, Daria is a key figure in the global techno scene. A co-founder of Materia UA, she has performed at iconic venues such as K41, Berghain, Bassiani, and Fabric. Her style is rooted in hard and groovy techno, frequently infused with breakbeat, electro, and jungle.Lolsnake (@_lolsnake_ )Founder of WEEEIRDOS. weeeirdos podcast edition 26 is now online :))))) this time we have a wonderful recording from @_djskin ️‍ DJ SKIN is Berlin-based, London born dj and resident for Iterations. She has played across Europe and in Berlin for collectives such as BCCO, Crude, MUSA, and this year closing for Weeeirdos at Saule.Her sets are a hypnotic fusion of tripped-out techno and stripped-back psy. Low end heavy, she likes to blend rhythms and mind-bending textures to capture emotions and craft journeys to seduce the senses and keep the dancefloor locked in from start to finish.For this mix some words from DJ SKIN:“I wanted to recreate some of my favourite moments from my weeeirdos closing set at Saule. I have been thinking a lot recently about radiance and this was the feeling I wanted to capture in this mix.”We know you’ll enjoy this one ️‍

For weeeirdos 25 we have the lovely @arthur_baron_Arthur Baron is a musician, DJ and sound designer based in Berlin. Former employee at the Hard Wax record store and founder of the Moons event series their sound ranges widely from precise rhythm mechanics to dissolved beatless abstractions, each side feeding each other and building up a broad understanding of electronic music. Constantly working on a contextual approach to DJing to let the music emphasise given moments is a key part of their approach making each appearance unique and letting sound aesthetics evolve with places and listeners.Lil note from arthur about the mix “This mix was recorded in one spontaneous take at the weeeirdos headquarters with three CDJs and a Xone:92. It draws inspiration from some recent gigs I played over this year with a clear focus on a techno facet of my sound that I have been pushing.”Enjoy cuties! ️‍

Hailing from Georgia VINVAR is the co-founder of Berlin queer collective fluid.vision and resident dj of @pornceptual, draws from her lived experience in Tbilisi’s underground club culture, where techno and dance is political and became acts of rebellion. VINVAR’s sound is diverse, blending old and new-school techno with touches of acid, trance, tribal, and hypnotic sounds. Her sets evoke a raw sense of freedom, energy, and intensity, transforming the dance floor into a space of pure expressionThis mix is high-energy from start to finish, fast, raw, and built for movement.
