@_pathfinder1 is an experimental alias for close friend of the community @fasterhorses_
Their recent release, Spiders on Victoria is a progressive exploration away from their main alias. Delving into this introspective sound is a uniquely experienced producer & DJ, constantly unfolding new paths of feeling. Give in to 2008’s pull and lose yourself until the sun comes up.
I recently received a set of audio files, broadcasted from a far away place. It’s taken me a while to make sense of them, but I have managed to decipher the first recording, and I have uploaded it to my soundcloud page for you to listen to.

The second guest mix in the Between Stillness series comes from Pathfinder, one of the many incredible projects from DJ and producer Faster Horses. The mix is an expertly curated display of ambient, prog and downtempo sounds, perfectly mastering the tension between darkness and beauty across a range of BPMs.
‘I’ve always loved the idea of music being able to transport you somewhere new, and with the Pathfinder project, I’m having fun creating my own little other-worldly atmospheres to get lost in. The project is very much intertwined with the idea of exploration, both on this planet and further afield. With this mix, I’ve spent just over an hour creating a progressive soundscape, fit for home listening, travel use or any scenario when an elevated state of consciousness is required.’
