A mission to take a picture of every buffalo person at @koalaspit and @danielle.saeva ‘s solo exhibitions @greenpointgallery in NYC along with a few misc from the trip. OPEN CALL!!! We are now accepting submissions for “Process”, the 3rd annual personal sketchbook exhibition! To do this 3 years running now with The Crucible and everyone who has participated has been an absolute blessing, one I’m excited to get the wheels turning on once again! But what is “Process”? “Process” follows a simple format, sketchbooks are placed on shelves and will be available to be viewed and flipped through by the general public who visit the gallery space. These sketchbooks can be filled with anything, made of anything, and created by anyone. We’ve had sketchbooks that were taken on weeks-long trips, used for classes/study, some filled to the brim with explorations of a singular medium/project, stuck pages, junk journals, tattoo flash, wacky collage, comics, journal entries about early motherhood, drawings held together by binder clips! But most of all we’ve seen just you being yourself, with yourself. Playing, testing, processing! I truly truly admire each and every person who has submitted in previous years for the show and it really makes me happy to see everybody interact and share some of their most honest work with each other while inspiration floats about the gallery. To think I was a student at SUNY Niagara just a few years ago sitting in the gallery with my classmates learning so much about them through these books. Submit now through Sunday, May 3rd! Masks and gloves will be available but not required to flip through pages of books, it’s heavily encouraged to be mindful of the artist’s and their very personal items. My art piece created last month during the 2026 @hallwalls mid winter drawing rally! It was my first rally and I brought the biggest art material load out I possibly could’ve lol. I had an absolute blast at the event, thank you to @jmassier and @parrishvictorian for having me (Parrish is the proud owner of the piece!), everyone who participated and to those viewing that I got to interact with as I was going absolutely manic for 45 minutes.
