One of my favorite projects to date 🩵 I was given the honor of painting a mural on the 5th floor of Upton Hall, where I had my very first art studio my senior year of college (which I was so lucky to share with @darmelleesterlin ). If it wasn’t for @buffalostate and the support of my professors and classmates, I would have never pursued art as a career.
All my gratitude to my mentors Lin Xia Jiang and Joe Miller, and all the folks in the @artdesignbuffalo for facilitating this project.
Thank you to all my models. My friends, my students, my community. I am lucky to know you. I am lucky to be inspired and changed by you. We become more whole when surrounded by those with different stories and interests and traditions than our own. It is within that expansion where change becomes possible.
