New @restorations out today! As a genuine super fan of this band, and the people in it, I still can’t believe that they asked me to mix it. After about two years of on and off sessions, I’m very excited for this record to exist out in the world. Working with Kev has been one of the most fulfilling collaborative experiences of my career and this record is a solid document of that. He wrote some legitimately great songs that we recorded in some pretty weird ways. Lots of different tape machines, extensive pedal chains, reamping, etc. Turns out there’s a lot that can be done with an acoustic guitar and some whistling.
