Wuji 001: V/A ‘Earth Amulets’ is out today.
Earth Amulets is a transparent veil through which tiny currents flow to Palestine and Lebanon.
It is an audiovisual compilation that brings together 22 artists across Turtle Island practicing an array of experimental approaches to image and sound.
The art and artists illuminate alternative futures in the midst of multivalent collective catastrophes.
Money exchanged for the digital and physical album will support the work of Gaza Mutual Aid Solidarity, an ad-hoc group of volunteers providing direct cash aid, clean water delivery, weekly deliveries of vegetables and chicken, sewage system repair, and school revival to communities in Gaza. Proceeds will also be routed to a TBA mutual aid organization in Lebanon, following Beirut Synth Center and Tunefork Studios’ announcement that they will sunset their efforts after months of dedicated work.
