@jacksteeledirector !
TLDR:
It has been a great joy working on this series, changing but staying true to itself.
Six years ago,
@ziamandviwalla joined the Chef’s Table team, directing the incredible Asma Kahn episode. She’s been a regular ever since, also directing on the BBQ and Pizza seasons.
This season
@screenaustralia supported Jack Steele’s director’s attachment on Zia’s Noodles episode with Peppe Guida.
Oscar-winner
@raykazehtabchi took the helm for the Nite Yun episode, filming in San Francisco, Stockton, and Cambodia.
@clayjeter came back for Guirong Wei’s Biang Biang noodles, looking at how food travels, UK culture, and amazing traditions from China.
@brimcgi was on the tools for Evan Funke’s story in LA and Italy, and of course on everything across the seasons.
The strength of the show is not just in the subjects and their stories, but in the incredible group of people who come together to make it. I am thankful to work at a company that sees strength in diversity
@boardwalkpictures , and understands that knowlege and opportunity need to be shared to thrive.
Huge thanks to
@thisisdavidgelb for making all this possible, to
@afriedboardwalk and
@danelillegard for bringing me in, to
@galluzzagram for supporting my dream of going on the road to be part of this, to Jack Steele for sharing your story,
@jamaxted for everything, and to everyone who was part of this season. It’s an incredible journey, with so much more to come!
