I haven’t had much time to post as It’s been such a busy time finalising my projects for 2022.
This occasion was such a special moment for me during a challenging time.
A few months back I had the pleasure to perform a new creative piece titled ‘Points of Peace’ at the GQ Man of The Year Awards 2021. The awards were hosted by @idriselba & @sabrinaelba , two beautiful souls who gave me the opportunity to speak creatively on current issues and achievements across the world. I have always spoken from a place of passion so this was something I yearned for and embraced with love.
George Floyd (rest in eternal peace), Sir David Attenborough, Gareth Southgate, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Bukayo Saka and Team GB. Points of Peace was inspired and written for you and the future generations.

Max Cyrus Showreel & Biog 2022.
Born in South London, Max Cyrus is a composer/creative writer and producer aiming to change the narrative one step at a time. This showreel highlights the versatility & creative skills.
2016 Cyrus was commissioned to produce Untitled, featuring Rodney P and Lanre Sulola. It featured on BBC Four documentary The Hip Hop World News. The single was written and produced by Max Cyrus at Metropolis Studios alongside Liam Nolan, and was selected for a special 7″ release on Record Store Day the following year. Cyrus went on to compose music for Black Is The New Black which aired on BBC Two and BBC Four.
2017 Max Cyrus collaborated with choreographers Geni Lou & Pax for Breakin’ Convention, creating a mesmerising theatre piece entitled HANNAH. The piece portrays erased stories of women who have achieved significant milestones in history but have never been brought to light. It was performed at Sadler’s Wells Theatre.
2019 Cyrus composed music for short film Blue Monday, Directed by Andy Margetson was selected for the 2020/2021 ScreenDance Festival in Stockholm, Sweden, and the Richmond Dance Festival in Virginia, USA.
Also in 2019 Max Cyrus music also appeared on the documentary Killing Michael Jackson aired on Amazon Prime Video.
2020 Max Cyrus was commissioned to compose and produce a bespoke soundtrack to the documentary Uprooted: The Journey of Jazz Dance.
Following this, Cyrus produced music for Mo Gilligan’s Black British & Funny on Channel 4.
On 22nd October 2020 co-wrote and narrated Never Forget Stephen Lawrence.
2021 Max Cyrus writes and performs Points of Peace, a reflection of gratitude for GQ Man of The Year awards hosted by Idris & Sabrina Elba.
In 2022 HBOmax sign Uprooted: The Journey of Jazz Dance which premiered 1st of Feb across the USA. Credits Max Cyrus as composer and post production sound designer.
2022 Cyrus is gearing towards the release of a new release, The Uprise EP. Lead single ‘Blind Treason’, featuring legendary British soul singer Omar Lye-Fook & K Triggz, is due for release Early 2022.
