This is something I shot and technical directed with Sarah last April, almost a YEAR ago today.
I had a few issues in post and other projects that overlapped…and so the project sat on my drive for a far too long.
Really happy how this turned out. Thank you to my incredible team.
We had four hours to shoot and wrap the whole day. I think this came out phenomenal.

It was an absolute pleasure to shoot the @hanszimmerlive show. This epic conglomeration of musicians, led by the greatest composer in the world, was truly a spectacle to see!
A big THANK YOU to @moonsmartfocus@sonyprofilmmaking and @25hour_rental for equipping us to capture this dynamic show - we could not have done it without you. We loved shooting on the @sonycine Burano, and the @moonsmartfocus was an incredible tool for maintaining sharp focus.

It was incredibly thrilling when Jonny @jonny.shaheri and @shaherimusic asked me to shoot the ‘DOKHTAR SHEKAR’ music video. Working with Jonny and his band was a huge pleasure, and I felt honored.
I am unbelievably grateful towards my wonderful crew who dedicated immense amounts of energy in creating these shots. Truly, thank you to my team for such brilliant work!

Max Zimmer Cinematography Reel 2023:
This year felt very quick. I think my knowledge and love for film grew immensely, however.
I feel that being surrounded by such tenacious yet effervescent crew members allowed the work to flow so smoothly (with a few reputable war stories ever so often). It is imperative to have such fantastic people to work with.
I look forward to continue into next year with the brilliant people beside me, and fascinating productions to capture.
