HELM returns to Toronto, April 23rd at BSMT 254!
It's been several years since our old pal Luke played Toronto, and with his return to Montreal, we figured a trip down the 401 was in order. Long a scholar of England's hidden reverse, HELM has always tread a path boot-stomped by his industrial forebears, using new tools and those otherwise forgotten, to weave soundscapes that are viscerally unsettling. Last time he was here, I recall the PA at the Velvet Underground striking me right in the gut. Curious what he will do with the bass bins at BSMT254.
He'll be joined by the return to stage of local minimal techno wizard PRAVIK, as well as the almost-there synths of INCHOATE, and the tape manipulations of DAYLIGHT INFERNO.

Thanks to everyone who supported the two Brainbombs gigs in London this weekend and especially those who made the trip from all over the U.K. and Europe. It was an honour to be able to bring them to London for the first time ever and the memory of these gigs will live on vividly for me.
