@ralph2020vision is a pioneer of dance music in the north of the UK, and an incredible DJ in his own right. Owner and founder of @2020vision_recordings his record label has hosted the likes of Motor City Drum Ensemble, Crazy P, Voigtmann, Chez Damier, Maya Jane Coles, Ricardo Villalobos and many more.
A talented producer, he has been releasing music for over 30 years, and DJed across every corner of the globe, including the Hacienda, Sub Club, The Moog, and Space. He also regularly scorches the wheels at respected festivals like Glastonbury, Love International, Houghton, and Gottwood.
He brings his sound to Newcastle @cobaltstudios.ouseburn for the first time on Saturday 30th of May. Opening set from Strut's own @eddie_erni and supporting headliner @carabates1 .

The music starts at 8pm tomorrow, but the the venue is open all day if you fancy some food and a cig by the river. The weather even looks lovely (if you have a coat a jacket a scarf a hood and a hat). Entry is FREE before 8pm, from then on tickets will be £10 and subject to capacity.
We expect that the venue will be full by 10pm, with online tickets, OTD, and people already in from the day time. This will then filter, so still come down and jump in the queue. If you want to guarentee entry though, get down before 9pm. Online tickets only guarentee entry until 10pm.
Respect the venue, respect the staff, and look after each other. We have a few handouts for the first people through the door, in usual strut fashion.
All proceeds from this event will go to the artist network that Grow manages, enabling artists all across London to pursue creative careers.

Strut all night long for a get down with @neo.sh and @freddforr from @keep__moovin . Expect an eclectic groove of exciting world music and the usual Strut stuff.
MONDAY 1ST
A unique edition of decks down front, we're hosting an art night in preparation for our collaboration with @blankcanvasncl on Friday, 5th of December.
We want to put up 10 A2 canvases behind the DJs and around the venue and behind the DJs, which will be lit up by some beautiful projection mapping @topfloor_ncl , and we want YOU to create them.
You don't need to be an artist to join us, and we have some assistants from Chilli Studios (the amazing charity we are fundraising for) who will be around to help. The idea is to create big, bold, colourful pieces that will dance as the lighting changes in the club. A few friends could even work on one piece. You will then get to keep your piece (or sell/donate) after the event. Booking a canvas slot also comes with a free ticket to the main event, where your artwork will be on display. Secure a spot by messaging directly, BACS or pay cash on Monday night. Any money left over will go towards Chilli Studios, supporting the work they do.
Wuf and @carabates1 will be djing through the night, as well as crafting our own piece of art.
Marg Mondays is still in full effect, and food served until 9pm.

What our next Strut with D Stone is all about.
The Newcastle Foodbank (or West End Foobank) help people in Newcastle experiencing food poverty by providing food parcels, affordable food, and welfare support to enable them to live a life, free from hunger. Their work is invaluable to so many lives, and as the winter draws in, many people are faced with the unimaginable choice between food and heating.
As with our last party, we are also accepting donations to the foodbank in place of a ticket. Just dm us for your free ticket, and bring some dried goods along.
We are really excited to welcome such a lush and exciting talent to Newcastle for the first time, and privileged to be able to dance freely in an uncertain time. Tickets are still only £8.

Every strut has a purpose. Tomorrow we are back in our hometown Bradford, and behind the wheels for potentially the last time this year. It's an event we've worked very hard towards, so if you are a Bradford head, come show some love. Buy a beer. Have a dance. Kiss your friends. Make some new ones.
An international Strut, expect to hear sounds from across the world, celebrating the unification and integration of culture. For this feast of music, all profits will be donated to the Bradford Immigration and Asylum Support and Advice Network (BIASAN). They are an incredible organisation, providing legal guidance, community integration, social networking, and essential goods and clothing for refugees and asylum seekers in this city of culture.
To directly support their work, we are also accepting donations of clothes as a ticket. In what can only be described as a global refugee crisis, with abhorrent acts of terror occuring in Ukraine, Sudan, Myanmar, and Palestine, there is always room to spread some love. A big fuck you to anyone that doesn’t appreciate the way in which cultural integration enriches our souls. We must be a global community, and advocate for an end to suffering.
Hopefully we can do a tiny bit of that together, tomorrow.

When I started @interstellar_strut with a couple of homies over a year ago we didn't know what the hell we were doing. We still don't, but we've had some good times! In amongst the good times we've worked with some amazing people and venues like @zerox_newcastle and @cobaltstudios.ouseburn . Honourable mention to the Beehive in Bradford for their lovely dungeon!
Couldn't have imagined the amount of love we've received since we started and how much support you've all shown the causes we've backed.
Lots of living laughing and loving loaded for the next year so stick with us. Kicking things off with a hot sweaty, down right disgusting get down in @ernest.ouseburn THIS SATURDAY.
