Great things are afoot…
We’re very sock-cited to be bringing a new theatre show, Sock Party to Brighton Fringe and OSO Arts Centre, London!
Tom and Marta arrive at a sock-themed party. They didn’t expect to meet. Marta is bold, and Tom doesn’t know how to have a conversation with anyone, but they end up understanding each other more than they could’ve anticipated.
In a colourful expression of drama, clowning, original music and stop motion, Sock Party is a playful journey through love and connection, asking how as adults we manage to create new friends, celebrate and play.
Here are the dates / times you can come! Please wear your finest socks only… We’ve both been really enjoying devising and making such a fun and playful piece and we can’t wait for you to experience some of that at the show 😁

Selectors Support & Girls Who Walk: Seven Sisters Hike for UNICEF Sudan & Hummingbird ❤️
July 18 / 11.30 am / Meet at Seaford Station
Join us, as we walk 21km along the beautiful Sussex coastline and take on the Seven Sisters Hike from Seaford to Eastbourne.
All proceeds raised will be donated to Refugee charity, Hummingbird Brighton & UNICEF Sudan!

We’ve been getting out in the sunny(ish) weather, into a very overgrown garden to make stop motions for our upcoming performance of Sock Party!

A lovely restful time in Morocco and some special highlights below 😁
Tagine
An incredible omelet with some kind of tomato paste imbedded within it
A chocolate milkshake with whipped cream and sprinkles
Instead of drinking alcohol buying rounds of mint tea with so much caffeine I felt like I could run the length of Morrocco whilst writing a novel
Edible salt flavour crisps
Seeing a 12 year old boy sitting at a luxury rooftop restaurant by himself eating a Surf ‘n’ turf
Eating a Nutella crepe every night ❤️
Shaking my legs violently so flies don’t land on them
Maia thinking she saw a tiny lemon in a tagine which was actually an olive
Almost falling into a pile of Moroccan hats
Losing my Go Pro in the sea on the last morning… so in all seriousness if anyone finds a Go Pro Hero Session in the Atlantic ocean somewhere please send me a message 👀

We cruised around in red granny mobiles, watched Bob Ross, ate dumplings, walked around, listened to some sweeeeet sweet music and enjoyed explorin ❤️

I’ve moved to Grundun! Slowly settling in nd getting used to the religious use of Citymapper and politely swerving through trains trying not to make enemies…
I’ve started a job as a technical manager at a theatre, and am learning lots about the practical bits n bobs of putting on shows 😲 Been amazing helping out on shows with @merlin.sheldrake@alanmeasles@jokeswithmark amongst loads of others ❤️

Spent a week on the Greek island of Aegina, the island of the pistachio 🥜
A week swimming in the sea, enjoying the sun and eating Greek salad and gyros. The sea was so Turquoise and there were lots of little islands. Saw Shoals of fish, played games of chess and made some haiku poems with Dom:

Felt rested, chilled, happy and grateful to be with best friends enjoying the end of the summer ❤️

Thank you to everyone who gave my floorboards some squeak ❤️ it’s really fun seeing how the audience can help tell parts of a story… with some people you had to really try and tease it out, with others it was knowing what to do when they wanna make sounds to animate the whole rest of the show 🤣
