Just in time for the daffodils blooming, our first Spring Series espresso is dialled in and tasting superb!
If you’re not Northern Irish like your gal here 🙋🏼♀️ you may know the Walled City from Derry Girls, Nadine Coyle’s appearance on Popstars, birthplace of Amanda Burton off of Silent Witness or The Undertones.
If you’re in the speciality coffee industry, arguably the best thing to come out of Derry is @_coffeewithkat 💕 A close contender is @opal.roast , where our latest bean Tirra hails from.
A natural Costa Rican full of deep sweetness with plum and stone fruits coming through, our first sip had us describing it as a warm morning hug.
Opal will also be on the retail shelves for you to enjoy at home throughout Spring 🌼
As the seasons shift again, we’re feeling ready to soak up every last drop of sunshine (however few and far between it might be.)
This menu brings freshness, overindulgence and a bit of escapism, much like summer itself.
Here’s to the sun getting his hat on ✌🏻🌞
SUMMER PORRIDGE

“Will you ever be bringing back the… *insert fun grilled cheese name here*?” is a question often posed to us.
If your enquiry pertains to the autumn of ‘23, summer of ‘24 or the autumn of ‘25 - well, folks, you’re in luck.
As we head towards another birthday on Roseburn Terrace this summer, we’re celebrating some of our grilled cheese greatest hits. Whittling it down to just three was a tricky task, but we’re quietly confident you’ll be happy with our choices 🌞
THE BERTHA
Sourdough, chorizo, cheddar, artichoke, truffle acacia honey, parmesan, aioli dip
NOBEL PEACH PRIZE
Sourdough, prosciutto, goat’s cheese, mozzarella, peach, basil, burrata, sriracha hot honey
MUMBAE
Sourdough, cheddar, green chilli, red onion, coriander, garlic oil, mango chutney dip
Coffee Cupping? Aye, why not ☕️
I find cupping events can be a bit intimidating - unspoken expectations, unfamiliar terminology and let’s not chat about the slurp
It can be a lot to take in… especially if you’ve not attended many and feeling a bit on the periphery!
Going along with a pal can be a game-changer, because it helps breaks down barriers, and the result? A lovely evening, few chats with new folk, and doing something a bit different ☕️
Thanks to @cairngormcoffeeco x @_dispositionstore for making this event happen earlier in the year
☕️🏴

Lighter & longer days, flowers in bloom, lambs in the fields, cherry blossom season in The Meadows , less rain? (jinx, touch wood), wild garlic walks along the Water of Leith - we’ve got so much to look forward and enjoy in the months ahead of Spring 🌼
Spring’s grilled cheese menu takes inspiration from our recent travels - indulgence for those still in gluttonous winter mode, freshness if you’ve already bounced out of hibernation, and a big chilli crisp slap if you need a hand getting out 🫡
Come, eat, tell us what you’re looking forward to trying first 👇🏼

Following the recent deluge of miserable rain, we’ve decided enough is enough.
We’re launching Spring early and hoping Mother Nature follows suit - the snowdrops are out and that’s the only cue we need 🌱
You’ll see Natalie & Gina dotting about on Wednesday taking some snaps and declaring “gosh that’s the best grilled cheese we’ve ever done” (happens everyyyy menu change) followed by the official switchover on Thursday.
Our Winter Coffee Series remains unchanged for now but you’ll see our new season arrivals in a few weeks.
If you’ve loved our winter food menu, be sure to visit before end of day Wednesday for a final taste - you can find a wee reminder of our current offering in highlights 🥪🥣
An absolutely stunning wee cupping with one of my faves @_dispositionstore .
11 coffees on the table and there was a clear favourite on the night. The incredible washed Gesha from @benjaminpaz .
Huge thanks to everyone who came along and to Disposition for having us 🙌🙏
This is one we absolutely can’t wait for. 💛
We’re teaming up to share the coffees that have been keeping us inspired on the cupping table this season. Expect fresh seasonal lots from the @cairngormcoffeeco range, and a proper deep dive into what makes each cup so special. 🪄

We’re starting a run club!!
My name is Izzie and my running journey began over a year ago now when I applied for the London Marathon ballot as a joke … through this I found an enormous gratitude for my body and the mental benefits that came with running!!
I feel very lucky to be able to share this hobby through our very own disposition social run club: Sunny Disposition 🌞🏃♀️
Our focus is about moving together, meeting people and ending with some really good coffee. ☕️
First run: 08/02/26
See you there!! 🌞
