Infinite FXX presents UNION SALON the first two publications in its ongoing zine series! A living archive shaped through encounter, process, and shared time. For this launch, UNION SALON presents its first two publications with Bevan Agyeman and Dan Demarre Meththananda, created through an intensive 24–72 hour exchange between Artist and Founder Cõvco and a selected artist. Each zine unfolds through conversation, documentation, and response -transforming shared time into a physical archive. Not simply documentation, these editions become a way of holding what usually escapes capture: memory, gesture, hesitation, atmosphere, and the subtle traces of encounter. The screening of G:MT sits at the center of this launch as more than a film reference - it acts as a framework for thinking about London at the turn of the millennium, and the social forces that continue to shape it. Set in late-1990s Greenwich, the film follows a group of young friends moving through music, work, grief, and ambition, while revealing how race, class, and geography quietly define who belongs within the city and who is kept at its margins. G:MT resonanting soundtrack: Moving through jungle, UK garage, acid jazz, South Asian electronic experimentation, trip-hop, and R&B, it captures a moment when Black British, South Asian, and wider migrant communities were not simply existing alongside one another, but actively producing a shared urban culture: through pirate radio, home studios, club spaces, and informal social networks. Sound becomes a form of architecture in itself: shaping the emotional and political landscape of the city and friendships. SURRENDER : SPACE TALK RESIDENCY New (3 Month) S/S 26 residency within a place i call home @spacetalk.ldn - May - July + Guests. First session takes place Wednesday May 13th (Hybrid Set) a night based on selections and live interpretation of Film & Gaming Soundtracks. 8PM - 12PM SURRENDER operates as a multi-disciplinary inquiry into immersion, pressure, and transcendence through the continuity of sound, image, performance, and spatial intervention. Rooted in the practice of Cõvco, the project treats each medium not as separate outputs, but as parallel manifestations of the same frequency and subject. Influenced by soundsystem culture, squat occupation, devotional architecture, and cinematic temporality, Surrender examines low-end resonance as both material and psychological infrastructure. Bass functions as an embodied force capable of reorganising perception, memory, and orientation, while melody acts as a temporal suspension - dissolving linear experience into states of drift, contemplation, and psychic displacement. The project proposes immersion as a condition where the body encounters pressure intensely enough to alter consciousness and anatomy composition. In this sense, surrender is not passive submission, but a compositional state of coexistence with force. Referencing environments such as outer space, church, underground dancefloors, and abandoned architectures, the work explores how scale, vibration, repetition, and silence generate forms of collective and internal transcendence. Across installation, moving image, sound composition, and live performance, Surrender investigates the relationship between frequency and faith, resonance and refuge, questioning how sonic environments can produce experiences that sit between cinematic fiction, spiritual ritual, and social reality. The project positions the immersive encounter as both sanctuary and threshold - a space where emotional, physical, and imagined worlds collapse into one another. SAT 30/05/26 - JOKKOO X ORMSIDE presents: MBODJ / Nazar / Nexus / Cõvco / Seventimes For the next iteration of ORMSIDE presents, we team up with Barcelona-based pan-African collective @jokkoo.collective , exploring the chimeric club mutations of the African diaspora. Founded in 2017, JOKKOO takes its name from the Wolof word for connection, and acts as a vital platform and binding tissue for radical and avant-garde arts across the African continent, its global diaspora and allied communities. Occupying and disrupting performance and club spaces alike, the 6 members of JOKKOO develop diverse practices as individuals and in collaboration – forming a close-knit community that is at once grounding and ever-expanding. Representing JOKKOO are @sama.adouna and @nexus_daband (The performance/ production duo made up of @b4mba and @mooquidi ). Joining them are three artists close to Ormside’s heart: “Rough-Kuduro” innovator @noallies , @infinitefxxlive founder and NTS resident @_covco , and DJ and @t__rs___ co-organiser @seventimestoye . - Live performance - [Secret location] Central London - March 13th 2026 {never expect lightness, a must in fullness} I write this about every place I travel - whether in moments of escape or simply allowing the relationship I have with the world we live in to take control in particular moments. When it came to Cairo, it chose for me to be with it, to see it, to be swallowed and humbled by it. Travelling solo, you often find yourself communicating internally more than externally, especially when language becomes a barrier… In my final days, I spent time either first thing in the morning or in the quiet hours after sunset with my dear friend who gave me the space to find my language - one that could express what my voice, emotion, and body were holding and becoming in Egypt. The days I wouldn’t show up he would ask why I didn’t show up as if I missed my class or a much needed gym session. Knowing it was vital/important for me! Where my thoughts were premature, playing and improvising before they were ready to settle, I began to hear them. In their spilling, their rhythm, their uncertainty - I heard them clearly. This place challenged me as a woman to the specific, it was able to me fight hardcore as much as I was able fight back to then be held, something I continue to unravel. To the women and aunties who are always around to corner ready for me to run to them. Mother Babylon.
