One: My face hasn’t been on here solo in a minute. So hi, if you’re new- I’m Cait and this is my little corner of the web.
Two: A purple sweatsuit was really the only choice for new branding photos after @moonsandthingsco dubbed the prettiest lavender a main character of my brand. Now I’ve always got an eye out for that color in the world around me.
Three: I’ve been photographing weddings since 2017 and went full time in 2018. Which means I’m about to enter my 8th full time season and I’m just genuinely confused as to where all that time went… I’m also genuinely grateful for all the lovely humans who have trusted me along the way 🤍
Four: It changes all the time but currently my favorite moment to capture at a wedding is the minutes right after the processional when the newlyweds are celebrating and hugging their very favorite people.
Five: Cream cheese wontons are actually the best food ever created and you cannot convince me otherwise. However, Culver’s buffalo chicken tenders and fries is absolutely the move for a post wedding snack.

It looks warm. It was not warm. But still, taking photos of my pals for all their big moments never gets old. Even when it’s stupid cold — absolutely worth every frozen finger.

Hitting the coast of Northern Cali with these two was the sweetest treat. Hundreds of miles, endless car chats, and views on views on views. When we got to this beach, it was like we were in a cloud. It was foggy and misty. Then all of a sudden, the skies cleared up and we got the prettiest gold. I am still giddy.

THRILLED that this is how my season started. From their first look on, I rarely saw these two apart. Chatting with guests, relaxing before the ceremony, quiet minutes alone taking it in, hitting the dance floor — all side by side. I’m over the moon for these two. If this is the tone for the rest of the year… we’re in for a good one.

Back home from our favorite sunshine state for a few days now—and officially kicked off wedding season yesterday 🤍
Safe to say I’m not mad about soaking up every last second of sun, sand, and ocean with some of my favorite people before hitting the ground running again. Feeling recharged, a little tan, and very ready for what’s ahead.
