Benjamin Kelly, founder of Dinosaur Hampton, joins the Futures Panel at 3pm on April 18. Drawing from a practice that spans custom chainstitch embroidery and repurposed vintage garments, his work invites people to see clothing as a form of self-expression and connection, not just consumption.
Grounded in a belief that style is “more than what you wear, but how you hold space,” Benjamin brings a perspective on small business that prioritizes creativity, adaptability, and making things that actually matter to the people who wear them.

Her work across dance and academia is rooted in love, resistance, and collective transformation, bridging embodied practice with critical inquiry. As a professor at the University of Minnesota and director of Ananya Dance Theatre, her practice advances social justice, feminist thought, and community engagement through powerful, movement-based storytelling.
