🐍 QUEEN MEDUSA 🐍 - Medusa by @amanatimusic and video shot by @tms_media_ ✨ I’m soo proud, anxious, but mainly excited to finally post my full and final version of my beloved Medusa from @poleartuk , walking away with: 🥇🏆 IPAAT Advanced Hoop and Best Tricks 🥇 UKAPC Instructor Lyra Regionals 🥇🏆 London Aerial Semi Pro and Best Flexibility 🥈 Aerial Art UK Higher Advanced 🥈 Fly High Instructor Pro 🏅 UKAPC Instructor Lyra Nationals Finalist WOW, where do I even begin… This routine is by far the most challenging piece I’ve ever performed and created, but I dare say it’s 100% my favourite ever routine I’ve done to date. Literal blood, sweat and tears has gone into this and I never would’ve imagined years ago that I would even be able to do half of the content that is in here, proud is an understatement. I’ve loved seeing how it’s changed and progressed as I’ve gone along as this has been my longest ever comp season, starting back in December 2024 and finishing in November 2025… someone pass me all the coffees and red bulls🤣 .. that being said I am sad to put this one to bed, but I will treasure it always. I can’t got without giving a massive shout out to my number one @daringwolfdesigns for creating the most magical costume ever, from putting the vision together, to walking out in this piece ✨LIGHTS AND ALL✨ made this routine come to life, you’re the best. Roll on the next costume, you’re stuck with me yet again😉 A thank you to the amazing @gemmalouise_aerialist for helping me put the final finesse’s together and for your guidance, you’re amazing and you inspire me soo much. 🥈 Professional Lyra @ukaerialperformance regionals … The routine I never knew I needed. Let me introduce you to “my untold story”. It’s a known fact that you only see a fraction of someone’s life online, but that’s also true for in person as well. I was 15 when I was diagnosed with type c anxiety and panic attacks after spending a lot of my teen years struggling with eating and body issues. Although I’m in a much better place and I cope a lot better with my mental health, the side that people don’t see behind the screen and the closed doors… is that I have days that I really do struggle.. and I find that hard to admit as it terrifies me to be vulnerable with something soo personal to me. A couple months ago I had such a meltdown over various things, one being that I’ve been putting a lot of pressure on myself and also my aerial abilities. I was sat in my room one night and this song came on shuffle and I had such a good cry listening to it. It was the next day that I woke up and went “… I need this. I need to do this.” All of a sudden this routine came to life in my head, I knew exactly what moves I wanted to do and everything, it felt right, it felt SCARY but soo right. Have I been terrified to perform this?? Absolutely. Was it worth it?? Totally. Soo this is me, me and my untold story. 🩵 Live Final Judge - Anna Louise! 🩵 @_annabananas Anna has been teaching and training in aerial for 10 years. She is based across 2 amazing studios, as well as taking her workshops to studios across the UK and has competed / placed in multiple national and international competitions over the years. Anna is also part of the team of aerial activewear brand Zvonko as one of their sisters. She trains in multiple apparatus’, but hoop and contortion is her specialty. She is excited to watch all the amazing talent and wishes everyone a massive good luck!!
