-The Royal National College for the Blind,the UK’s leading specialist college of further education for young people with a visual impairment.This venue is incredibly inclusive for all, vast changing and warming up areas and high ceilings to host our pole and aerial rigging from @anptrussing

Can I enter the same category multiple times for Pole and Aerial Art?
You may enter the same category multiple times,however if you score high enough to get through to the live final you will be asked to perform once.
The exception for this is with doubles/group pieces. If you get through to the live final as a duo/group and as a soloist you may compete in the live finals for both

We have had a few questions about video submissions for Pole and Aerial Art, so here is the rules and requirements for video submissions.
• The video must be clear, of good quality, and the candidate must be perfectly visible.
• Human Props are permitted but must not participate in any tricks on the pole/aerial equipment.
• Your video can be any length up to 4 minutes long. There is no minimum length
• The video submissions cannot be modified/altered or edited in any way. The choreography must be filmed without breaks or interruptions (shading or other types of effects are strictly forbidden) on a static camera.
• Your video submission does not have to show the choreography that you wish to present for the finale.
• You do NOT have to use both poles.
• There are no marks for costume on the video round
• You must submit your video via a video hosting platform, unlisted if possible. For example youtube or vimeo, but NOT reels

What category do instructors enter for Pole or Aerial Art?
Instructors can enter any category at Pole or Aerial Art apart from amateur category

Why you should enter Pole Art and Aerial Art.
We wanted to give you a space where you can let yourself go into artistic immersion. We wanted to take away the pressure of putting your most difficult pole tricks in and to be able to shift your focus onto you art intertwining within your transitions.
We LOVE to see your video entries and our panel of exquisite judges are excited to watch your routines.

Let’s talk about the rule of “if you’ve placed 1st or 2nd in a competition that you must enter the next category up”.
At Pole Art and Aerial, we don’t follow that rule instead we use it as a guideline.
We want our competition to be fair and fluid instead so that’s why we have made it a guideline.
As always once we receive your video entry we will evaluate it and if we deem you more suitable for a different category based on what we see then we will open communication with about changing your category.
