Dionyssia’s debut EP, “One” is a sonic dislocation of convention. Fragments of ’90s euphoria are twisted through time-warped machinery—jungle breaks that stubbornly follow their own path, trance pads stretched into ghost hymns, basslines twitching like broken code. The rhythm is alive and writhing—designed for dancing or for dislocating memory?
In “One”, Dionyssia plays with the heartbreaking melancholy of a night you’ve lived and cherished, and somehow mourned—an aching happiness.
This bittersweet reverie is, at the same time, a ritual of rhythmic rupture: sacred chaos dressed in neon, veiled in fog. It moves like the memory of a track that tore the floor apart at 4:37 AM in a squat rave lost to time—now retold through asymmetry, stutter, and sonic haunting.
Rave as myth—sampled, shattered, and reborn. Glitch-born and dream-fed, polyrhythms stutter and mutate, never quite resolving—like synthetic birdsong echoing through the ruins of an internet long buried beneath digital ash.
Each track is a ritual of disorientation—stitched from asymmetrical pulses, pseudo-acoustic textures, and echoes of songs never written, only imagined by a machine learning to feel.
A sonification of a time and culture flickering between collapse and transcendence.

EP ‘One’ by ••••𝒟𝒾𝑜𝓃𝓎𝓈𝓈𝒾𝒶•••• is out today ! So utterly excited to announce that my electronic music is finally seeing daylight with a first EP on @mizuha.cc ! 𝒟𝒾𝑜𝓃𝓎𝓈𝓈𝒾𝒶 is the crystallisation of my electronic reveries that started in 2016 until 2025, a very intimate and personal quest for melancholy through rhythm and lyricism of the last 10 years. They evolved over the years into digital poems, energetic suites, culminating into a debut album, ‘One’ to be released on April 23, 2026 on the beautiful label Mizuha 罔象 @mizuha.cc run by the Tokyo-based DJ collective Minna-no-kimochi. With the 𝒟𝒾𝑜𝓃𝓎𝓈𝓈𝒾𝒶 release of a five-track debut ‘One’, it marks the beginning of a series of releases that form the concluding chapter of my PhD in arts research at KASK (Ghent), tracing the evolving space where instrumental drum culture meets the digital architecture of EDM. For this track, drumming colleague Lander Gyselinck takes Moene’s drums into his own hands - not behind the kit this time, but stepping into a producer and mentor role. Lander takes Moene’s drums in hand and reshapes them into a frantic jungle and rave trip, twitching and writhing ominously for six minutes straight.
What began as a dream scenario unfolded over four sessions into an intense and at times confrontational process of searching for direction, countless hours of practice, doubt, and ultimately letting go. This approach forms the backbone of Sessions 1-4, a journey closely documented by director Willem Jones.
