Our new single βitβs not realβ is OUT NOW on all streamers! βοΈ
The first draft of this song felt like a joke to me. I wanted to try this ridiculously simple, βOb-La-Di, Ob-La-Daβ-type song. Something we could use as a tongue-in-cheek intermezzo on the album.
But once we added the minor chords in the outro and the song was mixed, the whole thing changed. In a final attempt to sabotage the sound, I used my old beat-up acoustic guitar for some overdubs but nothing worked to ruin it. Itβs that good.π(K.)

Dag iedereen, het is een jaar geleden dat "The Loom of Longing" uitkwam!
Ik mocht mijn album uitbrengen op VIERNULVIER, we verkochten onze release show uit in de Koer, KEXP draaide "The Loom", we stonden op bijzondere plekken als Botanique, Wintercircus en Z33 Hasselt. Het was een droom om dit allemaal te mogen doen.
Dankjewel voor alle berichten, voor het luisteren, en vooral om de live shows samen te beleven, middenin de virtuoos-visuele wereld van Victor.
Intussen ben ik alweer aan het schrijven - en op 03.04 breng ik "The Loom" terug live, als voormalig resident, in N9. We gaan voor de full experience!
