Starting with the spoken Bol Ki Lab Azaad, and moving to the beautiful Arabic song Shail Shail, we've been enjoying arranging together this soulful and sensitive set brought by @sabihakhan1977 and @vinayaknetke . Looking forward to performing this as part of our premiere at @merodefestival tomorrow (14th)!

Revisiting this classic @toby.cello tune with @sabihakhan1977 and @vinayaknetke has been an absolute treat! Kudos to them for learning this quite tricky tune in record time! Special mention to Sabi who learned @lotteremmen 's vocal line as well as adding her own improvisations, giving the whole piece a new dimension.

Today's plinkyplonk: an exercise in constant motion plucking, a.k.a. secretly wishing I could play the banjo. Also a chance to try out a new tuning! E B F# B for the win this time (CGDG with capo)
It's SO HARD to keep those 16th notes equal!! And be flowy and musical and remember wtf I've decided to play and not scowl and gaaaaaaahhh but it's a really nice piece and I'm happy but bothered and annoyed but also really happy but aaaaaaaaaaaaaa
