‘Kissing Planes’ Collection
This Raincoat look serves as the key look of the entire project, featuring waterproof functional fabric imported from Japan. The design explores the integration of functional materials into everyday fashion while also creating a soft and romantic feel. The layered yet unfixed garment structure required a great deal of effort during the pattern- cutting process. I worked to ensure that multiple layers could be assembled from the beginning and then folded and nested into a single garment.

‘Kissing Planes’ Collection
“kissing planes with layers” is the main design idea in my collection. I use the meeting of two planes to show the feeling of accidental touch between people. Many of my garments are made by layering pieces on top of each other, but each layer stays flexible, allowing them to move and rub against each other rather than being fixed in place.

‘Kissing Planes’ Collection
100% Merino wool knit fabric is used in the blush gradient fitted jersey, offering a lightweight, soft, and warm feel.
Blush reflects the natural changes in the body caused by physical contact, including psychological reactions. Most of my colors are based on skin tones and soft pinks, aiming to create a sense of comfort and warmth for the wearer. I also incorporated research on blushing to develop gradient prints for shirts and jerseys.
