The Domestic Phantom
Concept Statement: She is the ghost of the household, trapped within the invisible cage of daily chores and domestic expectations. Dressed in delicate garments, yet burdened by an underlying sense of restraint, she drifts through housework as if caught in an endless loop. The iron, the bed, the kitchen, and the sofa—once symbols of warmth and comfort—have now become the stage of her confinement. Her body language reveals exhaustion, detachment, and resistance, as if she is silently rebelling while simultaneously surrendering to her fate.
This is a quiet defiance—she exists passively, uncooperatively, and wearily, resisting the crushing weight of domestic responsibilities in her own way. She is both a part of the home and an outsider within it, drifting like a phantom in a space that is meant to be hers yet feels foreign.
