@52ostreetstudios !!! Home of my studio @glassclassdc and so so so many other artists, makers, and creatives. I’ll be doing a roundup of some of my neighbors by the end of the day but my #1 tip is to hit up our Open Studio events. Twice a year in the Fall and Spring folks open their doors and show off what they’ve been working on. We just had our fall one so fingers crossed we’ll see some of you in the spring. 🍀✨
We’re officially moved into 52 O St NW, Suite 212! Join us in celebrating the brand new studio space on Friday, September 12 from 5:30-9pm. We can’t wait to welcome you into the new space, we’ll have light refreshments available 🥂
A look back at our fall open studios (already two weeks ago!) Y’all made it a great time. Hope you enjoyed hanging out with the folks at 52 O Street Artist Studios as much as we enjoyed hosting you.
Thanks @ayshasphoto for capturing these shots. Catch you at the spring open studios! (Date TBA)

For this month’s feature, we interviewed Emilia_treesap. Through landscapes both inspired and physically shaped by nature, Emilia_treesap records her encounters with the sublime. Drawing on her own lived experience of the landscape, she explores the in-between space of the self and the environment.
