Art work of ΒΚΧΣ 6.0: Before the Garment, There Was a Body @2plus1equals2 Όταν φοράς ένα ρούχο, κληρονομείς το αποτύπωμα ενός άλλου σώματος. Κάθε πτυχή, κάθε ραφή χαρτογραφεί κάποιον άλλον. Ακόμη και ένα ρούχο φτιαγμένο κατά παραγγελία ξεκινά πριν από εσένα, διαμορφωμένο πάνω σε ένα σώμα που προηγήθηκε. Αλλά τι θα γινόταν αν το ίδιο το σώμα ήταν η αρχή; Αν κάθε σώμα γινόταν το δικό του ένδυμα; Αυτό ακριβώς εξερεύνησε το 2WO+1NE=2. Γυναίκες διαφορετικών ηλικιών, σχημάτων και καταβολών μπαίνουν σε ένα κουκούλι. Η κλωστή ακολουθεί τις καμπύλες των σωμάτων τους. Πρώτα έρχεται το αποτύπωμα και έπειτα οι λεπτομέρειες που κάνουν την καθεμία μοναδική: φακίδες, ουλές, γραμμές, τατουάζ. Όλα αρχίζουν και τελειώνουν με τη Μνημοσύνη. Το σώμα αποτυπώνεται σε αυτήν ακριβώς τη στιγμή, σε αυτήν ακριβώς τη μορφή μέσα στον χρόνο. Από τη φύση μας, τα σώματά μας αλλάζουν διαρκώς· όμως, όπως μια φωτογραφία παγώνει το φως, έτσι και εδώ τα σώματα διατηρούνται στο ύφασμα και στην κλωστή. Για το 2WO+1NE=2, οι Βάκχες αποτελούν φωνές γυναικείας απελευθέρωσης και ταυτότητας — έναν σύγχρονο διονυσιακό χορό. ------- When you wear a garment, you inherit the imprint of another body. Every fold, every seam traces someone else. Even a custom piece begins before you, shaped by a body that came first. But what if the body itself became the origin? What if each body became its own garment? That is precisely what 2WO+1NE=2 explored. Women of different ages, shapes, and backgrounds enter a cocoon. Thread follows the curves of their bodies. First comes the imprint, then the details that make each one singular: freckles, scars, lines, tattoos. Everything begins and ends with Mnemosyne. The body is captured in this exact moment, this exact shape in time. By nature, our forms are constantly changing, but like a photograph freezes light, the bodies are now preserved in fabric and thread. For 2WO+1NE=2, the Bacchae are voices of female liberation and identity, a modern Dionysian chorus. Happy New Year. Here’s to you - this incredible community. Thank you so much for being here ✨🙏 This year was busy in the best way. I visited 18 countries - some more than once, many for the first time: Armenia, Australia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Georgia (for 8 weeks!), Greece, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Slovenia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Tunisia. Phew! Mostly solo - but sometimes shared with beautiful friends - wonderfully random adventures, with so much new inspiration to share for your 2026 travels. It’s a thrill to pass on my insider recos and the stories of the people and experiences that shape the way I travel. - I planned hundreds of trips for my wonderful clients (many of you here) all over the world. - Together with Greece’s leading ethical fashion brand @2plus1equals2 , we launched a small capsule collection of 11 pieces inspired by my hometown of Melbourne. - We launched the It’s Beautiful Here Dinner Club series and hosted 200 people across six lunch and dinner events in Athens, plus mini editions in Istanbul and Milan. A place for our community to come together in person - we partnered with inspiring chefs and found beautiful spaces to create relaxed, welcoming gatherings full of curiosity and connection. It was fun. Thank you to the best @fennel.everywhere , @chloecooks___ , @j_pl_r , @tavernatonfilon . - We also softly launched a cute sock collab (the “TRAVEL ΣΟΚ”) with my friends at @kaltsa_sok . - I (finally!) hosted my first small group trip — four very special days in Georgia. With more to come next year. - I contributed travel stories to editorial publications I admire @service95 , @russhmagazine , @qantas magazine, @212magazine ; while continuing to work with travel brands and hotel partners I respect. - And I became an aunty again! 💞 With so much gratitude, I’m looking forward to another year of sharing beautiful places and meaningful travel experiences with you.
