The pavilion originally opened in 1893 and is most well known as the home of @oldxavsfc , and @prahranfc who play in the vafa, as well as Victorian Premier Cricket side, @prahrancc
The new double-story facility features a function room, change rooms and seating for about 150 spectators. There is also undercover terracing located on the wing and a grass hill surrounding the rest of the playing arena, with an estimated capacity of 5,000.
NEW PROJECT | 2Construct has been appointed Head Contractor for the new Early Learning and Childcare Centre in Newborough East for @vicschoolbuilding . The Newborough East site is the second of three new centres we’re delivering across regional Victoria as part of ELCC Bundle 1 2027.
The centre will provide long day care, Three and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten programs with space for up to 130 local children in the centre each day. The centre will have outdoor play areas, a carpark and a consulting room for child and family services, such as maternal and child health and allied health. It will also have a multi-purpose room for community meetings and playgroups.

NEW PROJECT | We're excited to begin Stage 2 of University Square's Master Plan for @cityofmelbourne 🌳
The scope of work comprises demolition of existing pavements, roads, footpaths and landscaping, upgrading Barry Street with new parkland, boardwalk crossings, gardens, trees, improved footpaths, lighting and furniture. Plaza upgrades include demolishing old hardscape and landscaping above the carpark, reconstructing steps, ramps and walls, and adding new planting, lighting, furniture and space for public art.
After completing Stage 1 of the University Square Master Plan in 2019, 2Construct is proud to be delivering the next phase of this landmark public space.
We are thrilled to share the incredible artwork created by @ngalnyaart for our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan.
The artwork has been thoughtfully created in reflection of 2Construct’s Innovate RAP actions and inspired by our core values, RISE: Respect, Innovate, Support, Excellence.
PROJECT UPDATE | Momentum is building on The Quays project at @sbc1942 in collaboration with @chandlerarchitecture and @connectpm !
The feature metal cladding and timber battens have now been installed on the facade of the Margaret Carey building with the Tobin Building nearing completion. External civil pavement works have commenced which comprise polished concrete seating, exposed aggregate paving, bluestone paving and a feature permeable paving creek.

The Aboriginal Gathering Place is a welcoming, inclusive and culturally safe space designed to celebrate and strengthen First Nations culture, especially for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Delivered for the @citywhittlesea under a design and construct contract, the scope of work comprised construction of the Welcome Building and Multipurpose Building, which included indoor and outdoor multi-purpose spaces for cultural and community events, meeting rooms, quiet rooms, consulting suites and spaces for cultural strengthening activities such as arts, dancing, language work, and crafts.
