DANIEL PARKINSON APPOINTED WOMEN'S HEAD COACH
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Daniel Parkinson as the Head Coach of our Premier Women’s Program.
Dan joined the True Blues last season as Senior Assistant Coach, specialising in fast bowling, and Head of our U18 Male Program. Prior to that he spent 13 seasons playing with Murrumbeena Cricket Club, including three seasons as Senior Head Coach. He has extensive experience in private coaching and a passion and commitment to developing young players.
Born and raised in North Yorkshire, Dan studied physical education at Leeds Metropolitan University before migrating to Australia in November 2012. Since then, he has completed a Masters in Teaching at Deakin University and now works as a primary school teacher.
Dan brings a fresh high energy approach to the women’s program and “is very excited for the opportunity to work with such a talented group”.
We look forward to his involvement and leadership over the season ahead.
