At Connect, #EmbracingEquity means leveling the playing field. Once we acknowledge that we don’t all start from the same place, we can create an equitable workplace through identifying the barriers that exist within our systems and processes, developing programs and policies that generate equal outcomes, and leading the change.
The benefits that come from diverse and inclusive teams, both organisationally and culturally, are hard to ignore – when our teams reflect the communities they serve, our people are more engaged, innovation and collaboration flourishes and we deliver better solutions for our clients.
When we thrive both personally and professionally, then we can deliver the best for our clients and better social outcomes in the communities we serve.
This year’s theme, #embraceequity, is particularly meaningful to us as we remain steadfast in our commitment to ensuring workplace equity, diversity and inclusion.
Happy International Women’s Day!

A CONVERSATION CAN CHANGE A LIFE
Staying connected with others is crucial to our general health and wellbeing. Regular meaningful conversations can protect those we know and love.
R U OK? Inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and start a conversation with anyone who may be struggling with life.
Before you can look out for others you need to look out for yourself and that’s ok. You don’t need to be an expert to reach out – just a good friend and a great listener,
Visit ruok.org.au for more information on how to get the conversation started.
Wishing all the wonderful dads, grandpas, uncles and fatherly figures a Happy Father’s Day!
On Friday at Connect PM we had double the fun celebrating the amazing dads at Connect PM and two special birthday’s that also happen to fall on Father’s Day.
We hope you connected and enjoyed spending time with your loved ones today.
Today is the first day of Spring and with that comes the first day of STEPtember!
@connectpm are taking the @steptemberau challenge by each team member completing 10,000 steps a day to raise awareness for those living with Cerebral Palsy.
No fundraising challenge is complete without some healthy competition, so the office has been divided in 2; the west wing and the east wing. Who will come out on top? Competition makes us faster, but collaboration makes us better!

At Connect PM we value the importance of International Youth Day, we are acutely aware that the future generation provides opportunity for social development and is instrumental in ensuring awareness for diversity, inclusion, economic development, and technological innovation. We also acknowledge that young women and men aspire to meaningful contribution in society.
Connect PM focus on youth involvement by mentoring, employing, and supporting our contemporary partners to afford new recruits with authentic opportunities to participate in social infrastructure projects. Thus, ensuring exposure to the design & development of health, education, childcare and aged care projects for collective impact.
Connect PM supports International Youth Day as a reminder to the property and construction sector to support & celebrate the true potential of including youth as genuine partners.

What do you enjoy the most about being a Project Manager?
It’s all about the people for me, not only do I get to be a part of an incredible team of people that helps people with their projects, it’s also about the community of people that will benefit for years to come. That gives me a sense that I helped out in a small way with the wider community.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
It’s got to be seeing the final project come together, and the positive impact it has on the community. I have worked on many projects over the years in different sectors, and it always comes down to seeing the end result come together. The positive impact on the community of people whose lives are improved, and the role the project team that came together no matter what to make these projects happen.
What is something people don't know about you?
In my spare time I am known to pull out the guitar and switch on the heavy metal music. I also have a passion for all sports and enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
We are excited to share completion photos of Stage 2 at Mayflower Reservoir.
