Fri 24th April we will be joined by Muireanne Levis: an Irish musician and sound artist based between Ireland and Glasgow. With releases on Moot Tapes and Faoi Thalamh records, she explores the sonic histories of environment and identity to compose choral, ambient soundscapes.
Currently her live performance focuses on field recordings and found sounds presented in song form, extended through live vocals, electronics and looping.
Her live shows have included festivals Celtic Connections (Glasgow), Alternating Current (Dublin) and Quarter (Cork), as well as support for L.T. Leif (Lost Map Records), Fears (Tulle Records) and Tennota & Rosa Anshutz (meakusma).
