We met lots of amazing people on the Ross of Mull who helped us learn a lot about the landscape and the people who live on it. Geologist John Faithfull knows a transcendental amount about Ross of Mull Granite and was unbelievably generous in sharing his knowledge, skills and excellent music taste with us. Here's some snaps from around Tormore quarries.
More Mull pics, taken by Rutger Emmelkamp. We ended our time at Knockvologan with a very special gig, sharing newly-written pieces with the community who helped us make them. We played in the barn with the doors open, lit by the sun setting over Iona across the water (not pictured but).
impossible to convey how amazing a time we had during our residency at Knockvologan on the Ross of Mull so will just share some snaps to start. Changed the way we do/think about lots of things + we have new music for you + we are feeling very very grateful to Miek and Rutger and everyone else who made us feel so welcome. More to follow xx
🚢 Beyond excited to venture across the water to the magnificent Isle of Mull.
Thrilled to be spending 2 weeks in our first ever residency at knockvologan.studio, exploring the sights/sounds/stones of the Ross of Mull. Then we'll be closing our time on the island with a very special show at @antobarandmulltheatre .

Ephemera Alert: Limited edition Compact Discs.
Each CD contains AMULET I + II, alongside an exclusive audio introduction. We have burned the tracks onto the purest polycarbonate plastic, and assembled sleeves of recycled cardboard to house them.
The CD covers are adorned with a mysterious design of our own creation, torturously and lovingly lino printed. Each is numbered; imperfect in its own way.
Available from us, at upcoming live shows and perhaps beyond.
