We’re pleased to share that our Kita “Little World Explorers” in Niddatal, Germany has been recognized as a finalist in the Kindergarten category of this year's Architizer A+ Awards.
Shaped by the perspective of its youngest users, the project transforms everyday childcare into an experience of nature and community. A low, one-story plan organizes the building around a protected garden, with each room opening directly outside and daylight drawn deep into the interiors. The result is a setting that supports curiosity and independence from the earliest years.

What began as three separate prewar apartments is now a single, minimalist triplex where every detail was was worked through closely with the client. White does most of the work here, with concealed lighting and custom millwork supporting it. Completed years ago, it still feels timeless.

The Irish Hunger Memorial.
Set on a base of Irish limestone and illuminated glass, the project re-creates a rugged landscape to commemorate the Great Irish Hunger and its connection to global food insecurity today.
A passageway leads from the city to the ruins of a famine-era cottage, lifted above the street with a quiet view beyond the city.

Not just a pavilion.
Part of PlaNYC’s push to rethink park infrastructure, this building brings together athletic storage, public restrooms, staff offices, a maintenance work area, and vehicle storage—and somehow turns all of that into one clear, confident design.
