Creative strategy, design and production for @basic.space We developed a new strategy for Basic.Space as they launched their social commerce app. Becoming a seller on Basic.Space was previously invite only, now it was open to everyone. We helped to frame this shift in strategy as a new, positive way of selling out, ultimately laddering in up to Basic.Space’s mantra of “Own The Future”. The idea of selling out worked on two levels - firstly it spoke to the businesses decision to move away from invite only to a much more scalable platform. And secondly, it encouraged new sellers to sign up and sell their stuff on Basic.Space. The campaign launched across social, press and OOH in NY and LA. 2023 is a big year for us, it’s the year we go out of the gate, the year we plant our feet and say this is who we are. It’s been a long road to get here, but we’re beyond proud and excited to share our new showreel; a small selection of work we’ve done in the last few years. Creative direction and production for Design This Day, a new podcast by @teague1926 Continuing their legacy of innovation, Teague launched a podcast to interview industry leaders on the future of their fields. We were commissioned to bring the vision to life with a unique cover artwork and accompanying graphic language. Built around the idea of “seeing beneath the surface”, and referencing an industrial production process, we used a vacuum-forming execution to reveal the podcast cover art through a metallic Mylar cloth. 🏆 Webby Award Nomination - Link in bio Design and Development for NOBL Last year we were fortunate enough to work with the folks at NOBL to reimagine their online presence. This week that work was nominated for a Webby Award in the Business Blog/Website category. It would mean the world to us, and NOBL, if you could head to the link in our bio to vote for us! Change has changed. For over 10 years NOBL have been partnering with some of the world’s most respected companies to lead organisational change at scale. They needed to mature their website and present their offering in a way that captured the attention of their customers, while shaking up an industry on autopilot. A 400-article-strong blog was NOBLs digital super power. Their weekly posts attract an impressive following and an enviable subscriber list. The new website leverages this content throughout and, together with a new brand, takes inspiration from newspaper and editorial design to create an experience that feels equally as intelligent. Through considerate typographic detailing and playful illustrations (by the talented @jkeeree_ ), the new site makes complex topics approachable, and engaging. Coupled with a lightning fast build, the site is both beautiful and functional, allowing users to navigate at speed. The launch of the new site saw NOBL’s monthly visitors and impressions double within the first three months (averaging over 300,000 impression each month), and generated countless new leads. New site for @karimoku_research KARIMOKU RESEARCH is the research and development division of parent brand @karimoku_official . On October 26th, the KARIMOKU RESEARCH CENTRE, will open its doors to the public in Tokyo. Set across three storeys in a newly renovated space, the centre is designed to foster collaboration, learning and physical interaction with materials and prototypes. The new site builds on the identity by @studioran_ and provides an engaging experience through which users can explore the concept across three core principles: Survey, Archive and Innovate. Identity and site for the the fastest mile in Los Angeles @abbotkinneyone 💫 We partnered with @wearesonday to launch the inaugural mile long race along Abbot Kinney Boulevard, hosted by @venicerunclub . A typographic identity, paired with a single colour halftone treatment, created a striking visual that suited the vibe of the boulevard while building an iconic, ownable style for the event. Identity and art direction for SELECT, with @basic.space Using open source typography and AI generated illustrations, we created an identity with only one rule: Does it feel like SELECT? The SELECT brand is, much like Basic.Space, defined by authenticity. It’s IRL and URL together, always an experience, never a look.
