In collaboration with STRUT, we are so lucky to have Boorloo based Ian De Mello and Mani Tuaga from the upcoming Concrete Echoes show for the Perth Festival (24-27 Feb) to put on a pop-up freestyle workshop this Sunday featuring their krumping perspectives to freestyle movement!

Seasons greetings, Moon Hangers! We will be hosting our next OPEN Moon Hangs this Friday on the 25th April to raise funds for some mutual aid projects! 🌙
We will gather in the cooler Djeran season to welcome the homecoming of organiser Qíqí @_xiaodongxi ~ offerings will include a sundowner of porch gig music and screenprinting ✨
IMMENSE LOVE AND GRATITUDE TO: @_what_is_to_be_done_ for their beloved Moon Hang logo design. We finally have the stencil for a screenprinting pop-up between 2-4pm. Donation- based prints 🫶
At the same time, we will be mahjong-ing (4x ppl per game, or teams can be made per side) and can teach you when you come!
From 4-6pm have open porch space for singing, sharing, performing poetry, music, and special tricks!
In the spirit of reciprocity, the Moon Hang Library will be open for reading/borrowing/returning zines, art, books, literature, etc.

SEP - DEC 2024 Final Samsung dump:
No where are these in order but some highlights from this season were:
- Starting printmaking with lino and mono techniques in October
- spending quality time with new friends, old friends, chosen family and cousin time <3
- playing and creating. Having fun and lightness reenter the creation process for me as I take a lighter load this part of the year.
Here's to more play, healing, and taking new directions into 2025. I feel a collective unrest/eagerness to move forward into the new world. Let us make way for that passageway, without haste nor looking back.

I can't believe ISPA happened thanks to the gracious support of the US Consulate in WA awarding 10 bursaries to attend ISPA 2024 In Perth! My first art market/conference and my first insane talk and opportunity to meet incredible artists and producers all over the world???
Sprinkled in with visits with friends and family, and my first time in Garrmalang/Darwin crashing @_xiaodongxi 's family trip lmao
