Pedalling into a frozen New Year. Ice and snow make winter miles hard earned. But our wheels will keep you rolling through the challenging conditions. Of course, we can't promise they'll keep you upright, so plan your winter adventures carefully 🧊❄️ #zollawheels

The festive season is well and truly upon us, but be warned: Zolla Wheels aren't just for Christmas. It starts with admiring the smooth carbon, beautifully engineered hub ratchets and impossibly strong spokes. But before you know it, you'll be tacking a cross-continental ultra race, taking on a multi-day charity epic or bikepacking across an island archipelago. Our wheels are not just for Christmas; they're for adventures. #Zolla

My @ultracyclistsforpalestine ride was both ridiculously hard and absurdly beautiful. Combining three of Wales's toughest bikepacking routes proved to be just as challenging as expected, but the views more than made up for it. These clips are just what I could capture when it was safe to take my hands off the bars. There were countless more views that will remain as memories. And it was all for an incredible cause, raising money to provide clean water in Gaza via MSF. My mad ride raised almost £900 - thank you to everyone who donated. #ultracyclistsforpalestine

🇬🇧 Tomorrow I set off on The Japanese Odyssey, a 2400km ride with over 50,000m of elevation gain that the organizers describe as “the most scenic, yet punishing ride you’ll ever attempt”. You can follow me grind through Japan’s mountains - live updates via the link in my bio. I will ride with a purpose. I’ve joined @ultracyclingforpalestine in a fundraising campaign for @doctorswithoutborders to help alleviate suffering in Gaza. Please support the cause by donating, even a small amount, via the link below. Our TPA events may be over, but that doesn't mean there's no more grovelling up Welsh hills for someone this year. Riders who have ridden one of @robgardinercyclist 's routes this year - or any other year - will be delighted to hear that he is going to subjected to a taste of his own medicine, riding a Frankenstein route of his own creation. It's all for a good cause, however, with Rob taking on the challenge of riding the Trans Cambrian, Traws Eryri and North Wales 500 back-to-back as part of the @ultracyclistsforpalestine initiative. The aim is to raise funds to provide clean water in Gaza via @doctorswithoutborders . This trilogy of Welsh bikepacking routes means 870km of riding with 17,000m of ascent - more than 40% off road. Rob will set off at 06:00 on Friday 26th September, aiming to finish as fast as possible. If you'd like to donate, you can find a link in our bio. Or if you'd just like to follow Rob's dot as he inches up every incline, you can also find a tracking link in our bio. And for those of you who have already donated, thank you 💙🍉 #ultracyclistsforpalestine

From our workshop to the roads of Japan 🇯🇵; we fine-tuned this @crisp_titanium for our special customer @wizardofozzo : destination Japan, ready to kick off the unsupported adventure @japanese_odyssey (2300km, 46000m of ascent, 324h to complete..) Less is more: we swapped the drivetrain from 2x to 1x for a cleaner, more efficient setup: keeping the Force axs levers, we removed the old 10-33 XDR cassette and added a XD 10-50 Eagle. Then replaced the 2x spider with a single chainring aero by @garbaruk_components and a GX eagle axs rear derailleur! Finally we checked everything again so we could cover all those kilometers without any problems. ✅ ▪️Follow Us: ⬇️ @bike_n_garage #bikengarageworks #bikengaragehq @crisp_titanium @garbaruk_components @japanese_odyssey @feedbacksports @zolla.cc @srammtb @sramroad #crisptitanium #crispbikes #crispbicycles #titaniumbike #titaniumbicycle #japaneseodyssey #unsupportedbikeadventure #bicycleworkshop #bicyclemechanic #garbaruk_components

CP2 is now open Jack Childerstone is our first rider through CP2, reaching mile 240 in 18 hours 50 minutes! Jack has been setting a blistering pace and is only just getting started. After a crash on the decent in to Cerne Abbas village, he suffered a few cuts and scrapes but was still in high spirits and full of energy. A quick chat, refill on water and a comment in the CP book saying “still feeling a Morley’s” he set back off in to the night with no plan to stop until the finish. Its all still to play for with the next 2 riders hot on his tail heading in to the hilliest section of the course….

Day 1 of the Dorset Divide in full swing — fastest edition yet with the lowest scratch rate we’ve ever seen on day one. Riders are flying, spirits are high, and the gravel is golden. We are seeing alot change around the packs of riders Jack Childerstone is out front leading the mens category, Harty Doherty leading the Women’s category and Ben Thomas & Metheven Bond leading the pairs. We are excited to see how night one unfolds! 📸- @paisleys_adventures

*The Perfidious Albion* Riders will be setting off from Lockerbie for the fifth year of The Perfidious Albion! One of the UK’s toughest self-supported ultra events returns, and the forecast looks far more promising this year. Clear skies and sunshine could reward riders with spectacular views after the climbs, a welcome contrast to last year’s wet and windswept edition. The route covers some of the most iconic, remote and dramatic cycling terrain in the UK: Scottish Borders & #Kielder – The route begins with a northern loop around hidden reservoirs before riders drop south into England and taste their first gravel in the North Pennines. North Pennines & Great Dun Fell – A barren, wild landscape awaits, with riders climbing above 500m before tackling the UK's highest paved climb, #GreatDunFell. Not the hardest, but certainly the most exposed. The #LakeDistrict – A counter-clockwise loop through Honister, Whinlatter, Newlands and the infamous Hardknott Pass (with ramps up to 30%) offers both punishment and beauty in equal measure. The Checkpoint – After Forest of Bowland and World’s End, riders reach the only manned checkpoint: a remote, off-grid cottage. Coffee, biscuits, a morale boost from @windover_bikes , and maybe even a nap before the climbing continues. North Wales – The route carves through #Snowdonia via Hirnant Pass and the stunning Barmouth Estuary, before gravel climbs around #CreggenanLakes and the looming Machynlleth Mountain Road. The #Cambrians & South Wales – Riders thread through wild reservoirs like #ElanValley and Llyn Brianne, then into the #BreconBeacons to conquer Llangynidr Mountain, Rhigos, The Bwlch and the beautiful Gospel Pass. The #Cotswolds – The final push climbs onto the Cotswold Escarpment via grassy bridleways and country lanes, then drops into the Coln Valley before finishing in Brimscombe at @thebikedrop , possibly a little tired but definitely worthy of a finisher's t-shirt. Head over to @theperfidiousalbion for coverage throughout the event from the TPA team 📸 @robgardinercyclist #RideTPA #bikepacking #bikepackingrace #ultradistancecycling #ultraendurance #cycling #ultracycling #bikes #ultrarace #ultradistance

*Wild West Country 2025* With a record-breaking 43 riders reaching the finish line and a new fastest time set by Dicky Hibbert, the spirit and resilience out on the road was something else. Chapeau to the ultra veterans and those tackling their first big ride – we saw determination, humour and grit in equal measure. A special shoutout to Ally Holland, who returned after 2023 (with new knees!) to be the first woman to finish once again. We even spotted a few sets of Zolla wheels tackling the climbs across the route. We’re proud to support events like this that not only celebrate incredible riding in the UK but also give back, from kit donations to @thebikedrop to meals paid forward at @thelongtablestroud . Next up is The Perfidious Albion event in July. It's a 1,600-kilometre-long adventure through Scotland, Wales and England, tackling iconic British climbs with around 24,000 m of elevation. 📸@robgardinercyclist @honey_bun_89 @nadiashahanaz @theperfidiousalbion
