Fugue Gallery is pleased to introduce Zoe Ogle as a guest curator for our upcoming exhibition - Future Forward. RSVP through the link in our bio to join the opening reception on 2/12/26.
Zoe is a curator, researcher, and artist interested in cross temporal and collaborative artmaking. She views curating as caretaking for the artists, the art, and the space that holds them. Zoe’s artistic practice is rooted in diary-keeping as a way to link the personal and intimate to the universal through writing, photographs, and collage.
“Growing up in Rome, I was always confronted with the relics of the past. Now that I am in New York, I have a parallel and opposite experience in this fast paced and ever-changing landscape. So much gets thrown away that you need to be careful of what and who you keep. I believe that the future is only going to get weirder and weirder, and what has become strangest to us is thinking collectively as people. That’s why continuing to make art, and being able to share it is how we can make the future forward.“

Curated by Zoe Ogle, this edition transforms the gallery into a prism of perspectives, spotlighting emerging artists who are shaping new directions in contemporary practice.
Selected artists will be featured IRL at Fugue Gallery and digitally at fuguegallery.com

leaving/living
By projecting Rome onto New York, Leaving/Living explores the feeling of having two homes, in their domestic, unreachable, and parallel realities.
Gelatin silver prints, slides, analog projector, and photo book.
A project started during my semester abroad in New York at @cunyedu ,where I finally learnt how to develop and print film photography. Exhibited at @jcu_and 's senior show this may.
