🥊🔥this piece has traveled from @sfmoma to @crystalbridgesmuseum & is now finally installed @pamm — I am so grateful to all the curators, especially because it’s not an easy one to instal but you guys smashed it across the board! Thank you for including me in Get In The Game & placing me amongst some besties & idols of mine ❤️🙏
This absolutely cannot go on. It’s all across the globe & it’s getting worse and nobody outside of a few Jewish voices is doing anything to curb this violence. Enough. When you turn a blind eye you are absolutely part of the problem. What else are you waiting to see happen to the Jewish community before you open your mouthes and say this must end!?- and recognize the systemic and society-wide problem of antisemitism that you have willingly participated in, while benefiting from our community at the same time. I’m done.
somewhere there exists a good Jewish doctor who lets me be a frizzy mismatched mess (& it’s not even just in my dreams 🫣) Happy belated sort-of one year thingy, my love! Here’s to the next one @jdsaliman
Join us on March 25 at 7 PM for a special virtual screening of #ZoëBuckman’s film "Show Me Your Bruises, Then," followed by a conversation between the artist and Rose Art Museum Director and Chief Curator Dr. Gannit Ankori.
Written, directed, and performed by Buckman and featuring actors Cush Jumbo and Sienna Miller, the powerful three-channel film confronts the multigenerational impact of domestic violence and the silence historically imposed on women’s bodies.
Across her practice, Buckman works in sculpture, textiles, neon, and film to explore feminism, motherhood, trauma, and resilience, often weaving poetry and personal history into works that challenge cultural narratives around gender and power.
Register through the link in our bio to watch the screening and join the conversation.
