Wasn’t a perfect race but it was a PERFECT DAY! I may have been in so much pain but I couldn’t have had a better time thanks to all my friends and family who showed up along the way. To everyone who came out to cheer and everyone who texted and called and worried and celebrated with me, you are my people and I’m so lucky to have you ❤️
Special shoutouts to my parents and siblings for showing up and encouraging me for the last many months. Special shoutout to @sophiebasescu who carried me through the finish and we got to have the most unforgettable moment finishing together (and for saying “you’re doing the marathon? I guess that means we’re doing the marathon”). Special shout out to @camillelandon and @margotgenereux who marathon trained with us purely for moral support. Special shout out to @tomas_vonderheide who was such an inspiration and made sure I made it to the start and end and everything in between!
