【Shadow Play】 Shadow puppetry（#皮影戏） is an ancient Chinese folk drama where performers manipulate leather or paper silhouettes behind a backlit screen, accompanied by singing and music to tell stories. It blends carving, performance, and music, often called ”the art of light and shadow“ and considered a precursor to cinema.
