Better late than never, here’s a recap from LSDREAM in Hawaii last month. I got to spend the week prior to the show exploring Oahu with my wife. It is truly a magical place and getting to play a show there is something to check off the bucket list. I have a few more projects to wrap up this month, then it’s back off with the LSDREAM team to play Red Rocks and The Gorge!! More art coming soon too ;)

La Segrada Zipmilia

Work in progress that I modeled in Zbrush and Cinema 4D, then rendered it in Unreal Engine. This is obviously inspired by La Segrada Familia in Barcelona. When we went on our honeymoon I knew I wanted to make something inspired by it; this doesn’t do justice to the real thing, but it has been a fun homage to such a special place. The lighting systems in unreal 5.7 have it looking great, but it definitely needs some more work. It’s been a while since I’ve posted so figured this was worth sharing :) More to come from this piece - I am currently working on a full video using this scene and a new character 👀 keep your eyes peeled for that in the future

Utilizing a bunch of fun tools for this one. I recorded the body motion capture in axis studio using a perception neuron mocap suit. Then I created the facial animations using Live Link in Unreal engine 5.6; the new features allow for several methods of facial capture, this one was done using a raw video file. Was having a strange issue with the groom rendering properly out of the movie render queue - most likely because it was created for 5.3 and upgraded to 5.6. That be my said, I’ve had this video in my head for a while, so I’m glad I finally got around to finishing it. More fun metahuman experiments coming this week, then I’ll share some work I’ve been doing in notch. Enjoy!!

I started working on this metahuman in 2024 with unreal 5.2 and never got to a place I was happy with it. Fast forward to unreal 5.6 and the massive updates to metahumans and it finally allowed me to do some things that I thought were missing. The textures for this character are were in substance painter and photoshop, and the model for the head was generated in blender using photos of @jidsv to make get the resemblance as close as possible. If you go back on my page o have some clips showing how I made the assets in blender, zbrush, and xgen. I also have a video I made with this character that I’ll share soon, stay tuned for that!!

Rustic Goddess / Tipper BSJ

This video is something I made in unreal engine, zbrush, and cinema4d. I was originally working on two separate pieces - one being the main zbrush model of the heads/lady and the other being the broken soul jamboree cover. After a little while of working on both I decided to merge the projects into this long piece. I felt like it would blend well with my friend’s style, so I sent it to @thevoid.media to play during his performance with Tipper. Good chance you caught it live if you attended some of his final events. Later this week I’ll be sharing some new meta human projects I’ve been working on, so stay tuned for that!! Cheers to 2026

Lots of first this past weekend!! First solo LSDREAM set, first time playing in the caverns, first time playing in Tennessee, first time projecting on a cave, the list goes on. Very grateful for Sami having me be a part of this team and trusting me to bring his vision to life. Shoutout to @van_roon for being best LD around, very happy we get to share a FoH. Shoutout to helm and the crew at caverns that helped make it all possible, especially @videometry for bringing those amazing 4k40 projectors. Big hug to all my friends that traveled to see this one, was amazing to have you all there. Til next year caverns!!

This was one of those moments that perfectly describes why I do this job. Hearing a crowd cheer and scream for a crab to escape made me smile bigger than I ever have while performing. I love that something strange I made in my office could make a core memory for so many people. I believe my job as a visual artist is to enhance the music, but every now and again all the stars align and you create something that is more than just fun visuals that go to the music - you create a memory for people. Shoutout to all the oddballs out there that remember this moment :) Clip made in unreal engine
