From young sustainability advocate to one of India’s leading voices in conscious living, @shreyaghodawat ’s journey has been nothing short of transformative.
Today, she hosts her podcast @sustainableteawithshreya , which explores the nuances of making an impact with changemakers around the world. She’s also the co-founder of @meatlessmeetmore , a vibrant community making plant-based living accessible and exciting. 🌱
Shreya’s approach to sustainability is holistic, touching every facet of life—from the food we eat to the clothes we wear, and how we show up in the world. We met in Singapore’s Botanic Gardens to delve into the values she lives by, the interconnectedness of social and environmental impact, and her advice for those charting their own path in climate advocacy.

“I don’t want an ordinary life; I want an extraordinary one.” ✨
When it comes to working in the entertainment industry, @yumikahoskin isn’t afraid to do things differently. The Aussie-Japanese model, content creator, and founder of @pecobag is forging her own path towards conscious living and a more sustainable world—even if it’s not the most popular route to making money as a creator.
While it’s never easy to turn down a pay check—especially when you’re self-employed—Yumika stands firm on her values, refusing fast-fashion deals that go against her ethics.
“I’d be lying if I said it didn’t sting to turn down those opportunities,” she admits. “But accepting them would compromise my values.”
From navigating the tension of promoting sustainability in a consumer-driven industry to her transformative experience with Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) and how it deepened her understanding of the connection between personal wellbeing and the health of our planet—read the full story, now on zerrin.com ✨

SHORELINE REVIVAL: What we wear is washing up on our shores.
This World Environment Day (June 5), and ahead of World Oceans Day (June 8) we’re shining a spotlight on fashion’s often-overlooked link to plastic pollution in our oceans.
Shot in the early morning along the shores of Punggol Beach—this editorial features one-off upcycled looks by @rayepadit —founder of @thefashionpulpit , @sgcircularfashionhub , and @peyarework —created using unwanted textiles collected in Singapore.
These upcycled designs—crafted from synthetic fibres and textile waste—are a visual representation of both the clothing we discard and the hidden fossil fuel-based fibres woven into so much of what we wear.
When we think of plastic pollution, we often picture bottles, bags and straws—like those in the imagery, still strewn along the beach. But the truth is, our clothes—many made from petroleum-based synthetics—are part of the problem too.
Fashion’s footprint isn’t just metaphorical. It’s washing up beside us.

Here’s why independent brands are the heartbeat of a more conscious world.👇🏽
Time and time again, they show us that business can be built with purpose—where people, planet and creativity come first.
By supporting these brands, you’re not just investing in unique products, but in a future where ethical choices drive change.
Every conscious purchase is a step toward reimagining the way we consume, creating space for more responsible production, and empowering the visionaries who dare to think differently. Small brands may feel like the underdogs, but their impact? Unstoppable.
Here’s to all the emerging brands out there in our community and beyond. Please continue to show up. You matter! 💚

It’s Indigo leaf harvest time here in Bali, and we followed along with Karunia, founder of Bali-based slow fashion label Rimmba, to learn all about the process.
The best time to harvest this fascinating plant is just before the flowers open. There are over 750 species of Indigo 🤯but only a few produce the beautiful blue hue you may familiar with.
The Indigo is cut a few inches from the ground leaving the roots and some foliage. After that, the leaves are carefully separated from the stems.
During this process, nothing is wasted—the leaves are dried and used for the dyes, the stems will be boiled and made into paper, and any small shoots will be replanted.
For more of the journey, following along via @rimmba_thebrand ’s stories today. Their beautiful designs soon to be curated on ZERRIN.

Meet @yumikahoskin —a conscious living advocate who’s showing us that a slower, more thoughtful lifestyle isn’t just doable, it’s enriching.
“Sustainable living doesn’t have to be overwhelming or extreme. It’s about making conscious choices and small, meaningful changes. Pick one habit you can easily change and begin there.”
Her journey began with simply saying no to plastic bags. Now, that small choice has sparked a ripple effect, influencing every aspect of her life. “It’s not about aiming for perfection, but simply starting somewhere.”
