Meet @peyarework
Born from @thefashionpulpit , PeyaRework takes pre-loved and excess clothing and transforms them into fresh, contemporary pieces — giving overlooked garments a new life through creative rework and thoughtful design.
Every piece is a challenge to the way we consume fashion, proving that what’s been worn before can become something you’ll want to wear again and again.
They’re one of the incredible brands you’ll get to discover at Circular Fashion Week, and this is just a taste of what they’re bringing. 👀
Stay tuned for more brand spotlights! Grab your tickets via link in bio. 👋🏻
Waste isn’t really waste until we waste it. 🙌🏼
All the designs in this editorial shoot—Shoreline Revival—were crafted by @rayepadit , founder of @peyarework (and the mind behind Singapore’s favourite swapping destination @thefashionpulpit and @sgcircularhub ).
Each piece was made from textiles sourced from unwanted clothes. In some cases, hundreds of tiny fabric scraps were stitched together to bring the looks to life!
Proof that creativity and sustainability can go hand in hand 👏🏽

Channeling fashion as a vehicle for change 🌊 in our latest editorial, Shoreline Revival.
Created in collaboration with @hellotessa and @makeup_and_hair_by_kristina , and featuring upcycled designs by @peyarework made entirely from synthetic fabrics and discarded textile scraps.
Plastic pollution on our beaches doesn’t just come from single-use bottles or bags—it’s also woven into what we wear. Synthetic fibres shed microplastics into our oceans and waterways every time we wash our clothes.
Fashion is expression—but it’s also about materials: where they come from, where they go, and who they impact along the way.

SHORELINE REVIVAL: What we wear is washing up on our shores.
This World Environment Day (June 5), and ahead of World Oceans Day (June 8) we’re shining a spotlight on fashion’s often-overlooked link to plastic pollution in our oceans.
Shot in the early morning along the shores of Punggol Beach—this editorial features one-off upcycled looks by @rayepadit —founder of @thefashionpulpit , @sgcircularfashionhub , and @peyarework —created using unwanted textiles collected in Singapore.
These upcycled designs—crafted from synthetic fibres and textile waste—are a visual representation of both the clothing we discard and the hidden fossil fuel-based fibres woven into so much of what we wear.
When we think of plastic pollution, we often picture bottles, bags and straws—like those in the imagery, still strewn along the beach. But the truth is, our clothes—many made from petroleum-based synthetics—are part of the problem too.
Fashion’s footprint isn’t just metaphorical. It’s washing up beside us.
