There are not enough words to fully express the gratitude that Shane and I feel after wrapping the LA portion of our feature. We knew that once we got our hands dirty and were surrounded by friends, we'd be golden, but nothing could have prepared us for the amount of gold we truly just struck.
I went into this project not pregnant and left LA 7 months pregnant, so... that's how ya know we're onto something good!
A massive thank you to those who made our wildest wishes come true in such a magical way. I can't wait to see how everyone's work is woven together in this film ♡

The magic you bestowed upon us opened our hearts in ways we will forever be impacted by. Just looking into your eyes, you had an old soul.. A soul that has been here many times before and was confident and comfortable - You made us feel that same comfort. You lived each day with such passion and exuberance, a joy that was contagious and reminded us of what was most important in life.
You were with us through loss, heartache, a pregnancy that transitioned into us becoming new parents to a little human... Every major milestone the past 5 years, you were there. I am not sure how we are not going to have you and your cuddly self physically here for the next ones, but if I have learned anything from you, it's to remain brave and positive in the face of challenges.
Five years was way too short for you to be on this planet with us, but, maybe that's why you are an old soul - Maybe you are only meant to visit for a short period before you move onto the next life... Maybe your visits are simply a short gift and once your mission is over, you move on. I'd like to think you were on a mission while you were with us and that you feel accomplished. I hope you know how proud we are of you. I hope you know how much you impacted our lives.
The pain we are feeling is real, but it's only because the love you gave us while you were here was life changing. You'll forever be our little warrior, our wolf in sheep's clothing with a kill list a mile long, the fuzziest little muppet with intensely beautiful, emotional eyes.

They say it takes about two years for women to "get their pink back" after giving birth - A phrase inspired by how flamingos lose their pink vibrancy while raising their young due to transferring all of their energy and nutrients into this new little life they just created.
Being a woman is sacrificing your body and mind for something greater, and yet, we still manage to keep up with society's standards despite the challenges. Behind the soft, nurturing appearance of a woman is an unwavering fighting spirit like no other.
Women are beacons of hope of what this world could be if we put ego aside and collectively endured slight sacrifices for the greater good.
