✈️ 2.5 MONTHS ABROAD IN KOREA AND JAPAN I was fortunate enough to spend the last 2.5 months in both Korea and Japan. It was honestly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I truly don’t think I’ll have another chance to spend more than 2 months abroad until I retire. I took a break from posting on social media (apart from IG stories) since I wanted to immerse myself in their world and focus on seeing the world through my eyes instead of a camera lens. However, I did make sure to document my travels, so I’m excited to share these memories, as well as some fresh, ongoing collaborations! Stay tuned for both travel tales and local content!

NYC omakase prices are actually insane right now… which is why I could NOT believe this full 16-course experience was only $56 🍣🔥 @ukaomakase is serving one of the best-value omakases I’ve seen in the city — and they even added wagyu to the set. Plus, free sake for a limited time 🍶 Here’s everything included in the experience: ✨ Ocean Trout Sashimi ✨ Miso Soup ✨ Mikandai (Japanese Sea Bream with citrus aroma) ✨ Shima Aji (Striped Jack with homemade seaweed paste) ✨ Branzino with spicy crunchy garlic ✨ Isaki ✨ Gindara (Sablefish with yuzu miso sauce) ✨ Zuke Akami (Marinated Lean Tuna with shiitake mushrooms) ✨ Chutoro with pickled wasabi ✨ Double Otoro topped with chopped toro ✨ Hotate (Scallop with yuzu sauce) ✨ Salmon with foie gras + shiso leaf ✨ Wagyu with bamboo charcoal salt ✨ Eel ✨ Toro Hand Roll ✨ Ice Cream Honestly… getting all this for $56 in NYC feels illegal 😭 Save this before reservations get impossible. 👉FOLLOW @zackaryeats for more NYC recommendations 📍 @ukaomakase (238 E 60th St, New York, NY 10022) . . . . . #newyorkcity #nycfoodie #nycfood #nyceats

🇲🇽🌊 Brickell Key’s hottest new spot is HERE — and Miami, this one’s special. Say hello to The Mexican — an elevated Mexican concept bringing bold flavors straight from Monterrey to our waterfront. And the menu alone makes this a must-visit. Here’s what you need to order: 🥑 Guacamole Divorciado 🐟 Seabass Ceviche 🥩 Wagyu Spinalis Steak 🌮 Black Angus Tacos 🎣 Seabass Regio Add the Brickell River skyline views, high-energy ambiance & impeccable service… and you’ve got Miami’s new waterfront dining destination 👑 👉FOLLOW @zackaryeats for more Miami and South Florida recommendations 📍 @themexican.miami (601 Brickell Key Dr suite 100, Miami, FL 33131) . . . . . #miami #miamiflorida #miamifood #miamirestaurant #miamieats

I finally tried the viral pancakes everyone in NYC is talking about and IT’S WORTH THE HYPE! Golden Diner’s honey butter pancakes might actually be one of the best brunch dishes in the city. They’re ridiculously fluffy, soft like sponge cake, dripping in warm honey butter, and the lemon zest cuts through everything perfectly. Every bite somehow tastes buttery, sweet, bright, and light at the same time 🤯 And then there’s the Chinatown Egg & Cheese Sando on the sesame scallion milk bun, genuinely one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in a while. Soft scrambled eggs, crispy hash brown, savory scallion flavor — absolutely insane. I get why people stand in line for an hour for this brunch now 😭 👉FOLLOW @zackaryeats for more NYC recommendations 📍 @goldendinerny (123 Madison St, New York, NY 10002) . . . . . #newyorkcity #nycfoodie #nycfood #nyceats

NYC finally got a spot dedicated to the viral salt bread and honestly, I get the hype now 🥖☁️ The bread is buttery, chewy, slightly salty, and has the crispiest bottom crust ever. Imagine if a croissant and a soft pretzel had a baby 😭 Each order comes with 3 salt breads + sweet cream for dipping, and the combo is dangerously addictive. The cream is rich and milky without feeling too heavy, and they have original, chocolate, and matcha flavors 🍫🍵 They also serve salt cream matcha and coffee drinks that pair PERFECTLY with the bread. This is absolutely about to become one of those lines-out-the-door cafes so go before everyone catches on 👀 👉FOLLOW @zackaryeats for more NYC recommendations 📍 @justinssaltbread (58 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10003) . . . . . #newyorkcity #nycfoodie #nycfood #nyceats #saltbread

KBBQ in NYC just hits different when the table is full 😭🥩🔥 Antoya in Ktown has been on my list for so long and it fully lived up to the hype. From the smoky meats to the endless banchan to everyone fighting over the last bite, this is the kind of meal that reminds you why KBBQ is such a comfort food experience. We went all in on the beef platter with ribeye, short rib, seasoned galbi, and flat iron steak — plus green tea naengmyeon and galbitang 🍜 Lowkey the biggest surprise of the night was the green tea naengmyeon. The broth was super refreshing and the noodles had such a good subtle green tea flavor. 👉FOLLOW @zackaryeats for more NYC recommendations 📍 @antoyabbq (37 W 32nd St, New York, NY 10001) . . . . . #newyorkcity #nycfoodie #nycfood #nyceats

The Chemistry Room feels like a sushi lab experiment in the best way possible 🧪 Miso soup served in beakers, buttery dry-aged fish, uni, foie gras, A5 wagyu, quail egg hand rolls… every course somehow topped the last. Nothing felt gimmicky either. Just insanely thoughtful food with a cool intimate vibe that actually lives up to the hype. And the craziest part? They have a pre-theater omakase special starting at $55 🤯 ⭐ Highlights: 🍣 otoro with caviar 🥩 A5 wagyu + foie gras 🔥 truffle & quail egg hand roll 🦪 hokkaido uni 🐟 toro tartare maki Honestly… this is the type of omakase you leave thinking about for days. Ok wait because why did this random dinner in Ktown turn into me planning a Korea trip 😭🇰🇷✈️ Ju Dam might actually be one of the coolest new Korean spots in NYC right now. The whole menu is elevated anju, so the vibe is basically: order drinks, share everything, accidentally stay for 3 hours 👀 Everything felt modern and creative without losing that comforting Korean flavor that makes Ktown so special 🤍 AND somehow they’re giving away: ✈️ 2 business class tickets to Korea 🏨 6-night hotel stay 💻 MacBook Pro 👜 Mini Dior tote 💨 Dyson Airwrap + more Every $100 spent = 1 raffle entry 🎟️ Drawing is May 30 at @judamnyc Good food, good drinks, possible Korea vacation… this is how I support small businesses now 😭 👉FOLLOW @zackaryeats for more NYC recommendations 📍 @judamnyc (32 W 33rd St, New York, NY 10001) . . . . . #newyorkcity #nycfoodie #nycfood #nyceats

NYC has no shortage of omakase spots… but this is one I’d actually come back to 🍣 @sushiyolonyc keeps it fun, relaxed, and approachable while still serving genuinely high quality fish. The tuna literally dissolves in your mouth and every course kept getting better 😮‍💨 For $109, you get 16 courses over 90 minutes which honestly feels kind of unreal in Manhattan right now. No stuffy atmosphere, no pressure — just really solid sushi, great service, and a good time. Definitely one of the best value omakase experiences I’ve had in NYC 👀 🍣 16 courses | 90 minutes | $109 👉FOLLOW @zackaryeats for more NYC recommendations 📍 @sushiyolonyc (348 W 57th St, New York, NY 10019) . . . . . #newyorkcity #nycfoodie #nycfood #nyceats #omakase

Why is no one talking about this late night spot 👀🇰🇷 @tosokchon_nyc in KTown is open till late and the menu is actually insane—KBBQ, stews, noodles, pancakes, soondae, bossam… it’s like a Korean night market. We went all in and the bossam, soondae, rose tteokbokki, and galbi jjim 🔥 This is the kind of place you pull up hungry and leave FULL. Lowkey one of the best late night eats in the city 🍽️✨ 👉FOLLOW @zackaryeats for more NYC recommendations 📍 @tosokchon_nyc (14 E 33rd St 1FL A, New York, NY 10016) . . . . . #newyorkcity #nycfoodie #nycfood #nyceats #koreatown

Ok I’m actually mad I didn’t know about this sooner 😭🐟 @sukidesu.ny is one of those lowkey UES spots that feels like you accidentally found Tokyo in NYC 🇯🇵 Kaisendon bowls stacked with fresh fish for $20–28… and then halfway through they pour hot broth in and it becomes a whole new dish 🤯 Like… 2 meals in 1??? Everything hit—unadon, unagi tamagoyaki, tartare, and the desserts (yuzu cheesecake + mont blanc) were insane 😮‍🔥 One of the best meals I’ve had here, no question.
