This weekend, on Sat, 24th Jan, starting at 11:00 PM, “BASSIANI SHOWCASE / TOKYO” will be held at WWWβ. @evilgap @xmtsk @basssiani — Last July, after playing and staying in Georgia for several gigs-including at BASSIANI-I strongly felt once again that I wanted to reunite with them as soon as possible and share music together in the DJ booth.(The day before my final day there, I was so heartbroken about having to leave Georgia and saying goodbye to Kvanchi that I ended up crying in front of his house.)That experience, along with my desire to share their incredible music and humanity with the dedicated, like-minded people I trust in various places, became the motivation for this project. Two and a half years ago, through Haruka-san and his booking agent Mike, I booked HVL for the first time. At the time, it was extremely difficult just to secure a single gig. (Deep down, I was also struggling and fighting just to find opportunities for my own DJing.) Since then, with time and repeated events, we’ve been able to expand this time to four dates. I sincerely thank YSK-san, Name-san, Tanaka-san, and DOMMUNE’s Ukawa-san for positively embracing this project, saying, “That sounds great, let’s do it.” I also sincerely thank everyone at LAPITA, Shimazu-san, and Mike for arranging everything. BASSIANI Resident's Hamatsuki is an amazing talented artist, and he’s also joining the tour. We’ll bring this BASSIANI SHOWCASE to a close in Tokyo, where HVL and I first met. 今週末1/24(土)に23時からWWWβで"BASSIANI SHOWCASE / TOKYO"開催です。 昨年7月、僕自身がBASSIANIを含む、数か所のジョージアのギグと滞在を経て、改めて「すぐにでも彼らと再会し、DJブースで音楽を交わしたい」と強く感じました。(滞在最終日の前日は、ジョージアを離れなければならないことと、Kvanchiとの別れが辛くて、彼の家の前で泣いてしまいました)また、自分が信頼する各地の志高い方々と、彼らの素晴らしい音楽や人間性を共有したいという思いが、今回の企画の動機となっています。2年半前、Harukaさんと、HarukaさんのブッキングエージェントであるMikeを通じて、初めてHVLをブッキングしました。当時、1か所のギグの機会を得るだけで大変苦労しました(内心、自分自身のDJの機会を得ることすら苦しく、もがいていました。)その後も、時間と開催の回数を経て、今回は4か所での開催へと拡げることが出来ました。 今回の企画を「いいですね、やりましょう」と前向きに引き受けてくだったYSKさん、ナメさん、田中さん、DOMMUNE・宇川さん、アレンジしてくださった、LAPITAの皆さん、嶋津さん、Mikeに心から感謝しています。 僕がBASSIANIで出会った素晴らしい才能の持ち主であるHamatsukiと、そして僕とHVLが初めて出会った東京で、今回のBASSIANI SHOWCASEを締めくくります。

Since I came back from Georgia, I’ve been spending my time outside of my daytime job listening to music and studying sound production. I built this synthesizer in between those moments. @musicthingmodular @thonksynth

To close out my tour in Georgia, I’ll be playing at Reflector, a club located in Kutaisi, a city about five hours by car from Tbilisi. I’ve heard the dancers in Kutaisi are full of energy. I’ll do my best to make them lose track of time and just enjoy the music. at @reflector_club

It’s an honor to be part of the 10th season closing of Bassiani ( @basssiani ), a truly professional and legendary club. Tonight will be my debut set there, playing a B2B with long-time resident HVL ( @evilgap ) from 11:59 PM to 4:00 AM. ⁡ The most important slot in the party, my favorite time.

I will kick off Georgia gigs at "URBAN" in Batumi on July 4th. The venue is in a stunning riverside location, surrounded by nature.
