Hi friends, I’m very excited to share that I’ll be performing some comedy at the legendary @legendarymakersmarket by the amazing @asianamericantown . I’ve been to the market last summer and it was such a treat to see so many Asian artists, makers and food represented in a city where I can only see a lot of Asians gathering at Fubonn or boba shops.
Details about the show:
I’ll be performing at 4:30pm on 7/13. If you wanna catch more comedy, some of my favorite local comics @esau.world and @umi_om are performing before me from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
Location: The market is located at 12600 SW Crescent St, Beaverton and the outdoor performance is at Round’s built-in amphitheater.

Some magical moments of doing comedy recently. When I took my first ever standup class on zoom through @kickstandcomedy , taught by the great @jakersnoll 3 years ago, I didn’t know I would be attempting to make thousands of people laugh. The best part, I wrote my closer joke during the zoom class🤲🏼. Doing comedy is very anxiety inducing, and unlike making art(my actual job) where I don’t need laughs to know that I’m a good artist, jokes need to be laughed at. The weird part is, when a joke is not being laughed at, it makes it not funny at that very moment. And WHY IS THAT LOL. Anyway, I love doing comedy, I love the friends that I made through comedy, it’s so hard but kinda worth it.
We’re back!!! Kickstand Comedy in the Park returns this Friday, June 6th to Laurelhurst Park!!!

6/6 comedy in park, this is a dream show to be part of, Laurelhurst park was the first park that I visited during my first trip in the states, so it really feels like a full circle moment.

A very fun show I’m part of next Saturday, my first joke contest. This is their first Portland show and you don’t wanna miss it☺️(me in a threatening tone if you can imagine).
I never knew I could fit in somewhere in comedy until I discovered that I’m a clean comic, where my clean babies at?? I’m calling this show “squeaky show”, adding clean to the name is redundant for me personally. But I’m sooooooo excited to do a show where I can just be myself and dry clean some jokes. Please come see how squeaky clean(and potentially funny)I am!!
