🌥️ storyteller spotlight 🌥️ Flynne Olivarez
@mariquitamedicinals @yo_bonanza is a queer, mixed race collaborative land tender, community herbalist, flower artist, seed-saver, bird spotter, posole guzzler, sun worshipper, moon gazer, altar builder, bath lover, aspiring abolitionist, and seeker of stories and ritual connecting to her Mexican, Apache, and Sicilian roots. Flynne fiercely believes that all of us can and should have access to natural and ancestral ways of healing and ceremony that allow us to lessen our grip on capitalism when it comes to taking care of ourselves and each other.

Not everyone finds their path early. Some of us wander, change directions, start over, or discover our voice long after we thought we were supposed to have everything figured out. Join us for an evening of true stories inspired by the theme Late Bloomer. Four Portland storytellers share personal stories about finding purpose later than expected, changing course, taking chances, and growing into the people they were always meant to become, just on their own timeline.

You Are Not Alone: Late Bloomer - Friday, May 29 from 7-8:30pm
