Let’s welcome the largest mural in the smallest state! RI history 🔥💐🖼designed by #keirjohnston @amberpublicart and painted by #keirjohnston @lindafernandy @agonzaart @hibiskiss_ @heryk_tomassini_studio and myself. This is the biggest mural project I’ve ever worked on. I’m extremely grateful for the experience and skill training by @amberpublicart . Everyone on the team was really special. @amberpublicart chose to hire two assistants from Providence (@agonzaart and I) and we can’t thank you enough. This is for Moshassuck, meaning “Where The Moose Water”. This is the name of the land that we know today as downtown, Providence. This is for all of the people, children and families, at the courthouse who can be enlightened with this massive 800+ color mural from the windows on each level of the courthouse hallways. My heart is so full as we celebrate the completion of 6 beautiful mural installations at the Davey Lopes Recreation Center in the South Side of Providence 🖤 Being able to create public art in the community where I grew up and honoring George Lindsey throughout this creative experience has been a blessing. The youth were very articulate about what they wanted to see painted and who they wanted to work on these murals and I’m very grateful to have been chosen by them. This portrait is in honor of someone who’s been like a father figure to them, supported the Rec for several years and I’m sure will continue to fight for the safety and care of the youth in this community for the rest of his life. Thank you so much, George Lindsey, for inspiring the youth and myself, and doing the work that many people are not. I’m honored to begin a new chapter as a Kumu/Advisor at Namahana School in the North Shore of Kaua‘i, where we grow rooted youth and community that care for ‘āina through their interests, curiosities and gifts. TIMEWARPED, a solo exhibition by Italian artist Roberto Carullo, opens this 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟔–𝟗 𝐏𝐌 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝟓𝟏𝟏, 𝟓𝟐𝟔 𝐖 𝟐𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐭, 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫, 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞𝐚. Roberto is an Italian-based artist who specializes in mixed media work using recycled polymers on airbrushed, textured canvas. It’s been an honor to work with him as a consultant on this exhibition—helping bring his work to New York and continuing my commitment to supporting artists whose voices merge pop culture and contemporary visual storytelling. As someone who came to NYC from Rhode Island, building connections in the gallery world has been an enlightening experience. This show marks a meaningful first step, and I’m grateful to be creating space for work that speaks to community, culture, and imagination. 20255555 Collaboration with my mom, Ysabel In honor of the Year of the Snake and the ancient symbol of the ouroboros - representing renewal, rebirth, and nonlinear time - this piece invites reflection. So many systems (social, political, environmental, personal) aren’t working. To reimagine the future, we have to unlearn, dismantle, and remember. The ouroboros reminds us that endings are also beginnings. That we can return to purpose, release what no longer serves, and begin again, together. Formed in concrete, a material I’m drawn to for its weight, permanence, and history, this sculpture becomes both a portal and a prayer for collective transformation.

𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸. It’s called Earth School Assembly - a living archive of stories, symbols, and shared wisdom from my time learning with artists, healers, and visionaries across space and time. 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹. Across many cultures, the idea that we come here to learn, evolve, and transform - through karma, reincarnation, or soul journeys - is not new. This book reimagines wisdom-sharing, learning, and connection - rooted in the understanding that some of the most sacred knowledge emerges through community, story, ritual, and relationship. Together, we brought community engagement and thoughtful design to this small but mighty overpass in the heart of the Mount Hope community—a project that reflects the strength and creativity of everyone involved. Thinking about Billy Taylor and the many leaders who paved the way reminds me that this journey is not about perfection, but about staying committed to the work, relationships, and growth.
