Meet @palomaprints (2015 Visual Arts). Paloma finds inspiration in the spaces and community that make Chicago unique, from brick to skyscraper 🌆 As a printmaker and painter, her work reflects on American identity by documenting the familiar architecture of laundromats, diners, gas stations, and other everyday spaces. For Paloma, sharing and investing in Chicago’s history goes hand in hand with the importance of artmaking today.
Our artist community has their finger on the pulse of their cities, contributing to the DNA of the spaces that uplift and inspire them. At YoungArts, we strive to connect with artists where they are, supporting their unique, local arts ecosystems and creating opportunities for community, innovation and collaboration that make an impact across the country.
